My kat is in service at Ontario Chrylser where they are waiting on a part for almost a week.... I miss it so much. The guys who don't use their kat as a daily driver don't know what they are missing. Anyway, just sad that I didn't get to drive it for a while - no other car can compare, even here in Southern Califonia. Hopefully, the parts needed will arrive tommorow so I can get my kat back.... By the way, Ontario Chrysler is over an hour drive from my home, but they are the best and well worth the time to get there. The prowler tech John Shakarian is THE BEST - no comparision. I have not met a more knowledgeable dealership mechanic! My service consultant Cal Morris is also a great guy and took care of me very well. I would recommend the service department to any prowler owner in the area if you need anything more than an oil change. I don't know much about their parts department, but when I dropped off the kat I ordered some touch-up spray paint (gonna paint me some models to match) and they didn't even ask for a payment. EVERY other dealership I asked to get me prowler parts (mudflaps, spray paint, etc.) would not even place the order unless I came into the dealership and paid ahead of time (couldn't even order with a credit card over the phone!!) |

Orange, thanks for the tip. Ontario is a couple hours from my house, but worth the trip for a good Prowler tech. If you have his number, I will give him a call. Thanks, |

Sometimes it is easier to just ignore minor problems. The fix is sometimes worse than the problem. I learned to live with the quirks. |

quote: It won't hit $40...... not even close Oh wait, let do the math: 14 gallon tank x 2.80 per gallon (highest I've seen was less than that) = $39.20 So assuming you have NO gas in the tank and you fill it up all the way, you still won't have to pay $40 until premium costs $2.857 |

I was supposed to drop off the car over 6 weeks ago but just got around to it last week. I think it's better to leave it there until it's done. Who knows, I may get a call any minute telling me the part is in and my car will be ready this afternoon???????????????????????????????? |

Orange.........now you can sort of understand how hard it is for us not to be able to drive ours during the winter. Unfortunately, we can't all live in climates for it to be a daily driver........but it doesn't mean we wouldn't want to! When we are able to get them back out, it makes us appreciate them that much more!!! Hope your cat is repaired quickly so you can get back on the road again! |
