Hello I am fron Kent (40 miles east London)in ENGLAND and I am considering importing a Prowler from USA as there are only about 10 cars in the UK so its impossible to get one here at a sensible price. Can anyone advise me on the pros./cons. of owning a prowler and what sort of price to pay for a clean car max. 15,000 miles. I am aware of cost to ship to UK ($2,000) and I would have to pay duty(?) and tax 17.5% here. Any help welcomed Mike |

I am sure we will have a few people post to your question. Do you have a color you prefer? since it is costly to bring the car over you should really get what you want. Also look to our members selling cars as you will get a better used Prowler here than from most dealers. If you have any questions on car ownership and would like to talk to someone on the phone send me a PM and we will work out a time to make sure I am here and I will be more than happy to help. I will have my personal car up for sale ( very modified )in a couple weeks and have a 2001 Silver ( stock ) with 4500 miles that should arrive here in the next 5 to 10 days and have a local owner with a very nice Black Tie ( stock )and matching trailer with low miles and put a buy bid on a 2001 Yellow yesterday that I should have an answer on in the next couple days. I would suggest contacting one of the other Prowler owners so you can see the car and ask them the PRO's to owning it. |

Mike Hello Terry here. I live near New Market and would be happy to show you mine and talk about it. I plan on selling it in the near future as to I'm moving back to the states. I won't be in England till early April but write me if you want to get together. |
