It has been a long time since I have posted but now I need this groups help more than ever. Yesterday I was driving around Minneapolis and an off duty police officer decided to change lanes without looking who was already there. Guess who was and what I was driving. Long story short the right rear fender of my 01 Silver Cat is not looking pretty, but no one was hurt and no other damage that I can tell. The help I need is figuring out where to take my baby for surgery. I have had body work done to other cars but something tells me I don't want to take the Prowler to ABRA. Maybe I should I just don't know. If anyone knows what I should look for in a good body shop, or by chance a really good one in th Minneapolis area I would love to find out. Any advice is welcome. Thanks ------------------ |

Look for a place that works on fine Autos.....Porsche, Ferrari, etc... these places are usually used to customers that want it done right....the first time. GOOD LUCK! |

Sorry to hear about your Kat...but glad your OK. I'm up in Minneapolis all week on business and always have to keep an extra eye out for people up here changing lanes or not merging correctly.....or my favorite the left turn signal with a right turn(or vice versa). |

I swear I must be a retard magnet.....I got rear-ended on the way to dinner this evening. At least it was the Trailblazer and not any real damage accept to the car that ran into me. I think I jinxed myself with that last post. Is there such a thing as drivers ed. in MN????? On the bright side...while the police were filling out the accident report I got to see a Black Kat drive by..I was on Hennipin Ave near 25th...in Uptown? |

Jesse........know what you mean! I got hit twice in a month while driving the Crossfire! Couple weeks ago, I was driving to the airport to pick up Bob and was stopped at a traffic light. Next thing I know, the guy behind me ran into the back of the Durango! I got out to check the damage. Unfortunately for him, his car was low enough that his bumper hit the hitch receiver and put a perfectly square dent in his front bumper. Thank goodness no damage to my car, but sheesh......I'm starting to get paranoid! |

Red5 From the way people drive up here I think Drivers Ed must be optional. I saw the Black Kat last night too when I was driving my H2 around that area. I don't know whose it was but it still had a dealer plate on the back. |
