First Look:
Well, the wife finally returned from Iraq Thursday afternoon--safe n semi-sound (she is married to me~LOL). Her kids n I met her at our local Montgomery, AL airport & due to location & amount of luggage we decided to save the unveiling for after we got her home. Remembering everyone was sworn to secrecy, she had NOT an inkling as to what her surprize was! I pre-arranged to have her kids to arrive first...cameras in-hand...then I had V blindfolded the last 1/4 mile into our complex...as she stepped from the truck, her son threw his shirt over her head to ensure she was sightless...and at the appropriate time...woolah, the shirt was removed and she saw her Bitch Red Prowler for the first time: Her reaction....bearing in-mind her 4-yr-old grandson was there & that V doesn' normally cuss, was, "HOLY F**K!" Mouth wide-open & gaping. Then what?

First Drive:
She drove it down the driveway & onto the street and actually peeled rubber....I was even kinda shocked! And then she proceeded to take 'er for a test run! There is a local speedway less than 2 miles from our house & I had her drive it there just to open it up & get the feel for speed, turning, braking, handling, etc. Needless to say--she was (IS) impressed. She called her mom in MS and said she had something to show her...but not WHAT? Friday morn we [she] drove it 250 miles one-way to her mama's house w/the top down. Exciting? Hell yes!

Of course the 'car' was a huge hit w/her mom & everyone else who saw it. Later, her brother, who lives near her mom came to visit w/his wife: Their first reactions were interesting. His: "Look what that bitch got!!!" His wife's: "I know there is a commandment somewhere which says I should not covet my sister-in-law's car!"

The ONgoing Love Affair:
Vera has pretty much driven her NEW '99 Prowler non-stop ever since Thursday eve' when it was first given to her! She is 'UP' for the St Louis Rally now & ready to meet other Prowler owners. I can't seem to get the S. E. Grin offa her face yet! And now SHE is the one looking out the window & loving the looks o' her new ride! Kewl.

2nd Photo sorta says it all, eh! *~*

Hello Vera, and WELCOME HOME!!!

First,,I want to thank you for your service to our country

Second,,I want to ask you WHY you married this loose cannon named Ken? Were you drunk or going through some kind of depression or other mental stress during the time you said 'yes'?

Next,,I'm glad you like the new red cat, but I'm thinking he could have given you much more for your return from Iraq,,,,,say like a five-carat diamond and a shopping spree for new clothes and shoes. Girl,,we need to chat, but first I'll let you two honeymoon for a few days, lol. Be careful with him,,he's old and weak!! Usually I tell a new cat owner to ENJOY THE RIDE, but like I said, he's old and weak So I'll just say to you: GLAD YOU ARE BACK HOME!

Your new inherited friends in Arizona,
Larry and Lethia
