There are 2 things I'd rather NOT talk about-one is golf(I usually get the most Honest Award)and the other is singing(I do not frequent Karaoke Bars). Good idea I must say for all the golf fans with a Prowler. |

Gary I have this one all done, I asked last year and no one seemed to really want one, I sold this prototype, they would be powder coated black and the top piece is removable so it could double as a luggage rack. I was going to wait a couple of months before ordering them in but can order anytime. I need to make 20 of them at a time to sell them for $349.00. ------------------ |

Make it for two bags and I'll sell my cart. Just kidding. I would be interested depending on cost. Dang Bob you must have been reading my mind. I wonder if the 90 deg. rule would still apply? This message has been edited by Kelley Austin on 01-05-2004 at 02:20 PM |

...this has been discussed many times. If you want single bag trailer hitch mounted carrier, check motorcycle accessory web pages. I bought two - $99 each. Bag stands upright. A double one could be made by welding these two together. The ultimate is an extended weekender from Realrod. I have bought one and plan to extend it a foot but haven't got around to it. Two carry bags will fit snuggly inside and it can be locked. |

I think the reason for the Post is the interest level for golf bag carriers for prowlers. I'm sure if larry does make one painted in prowlers colors or chrome it will sell. I'm sure if i made a nice one with pictures on ebay i could sell a few dozen fast. If No one else comes up with one i'll by Real Rods come nice weather. I would use it because i now could drive my kat to the course with a friend! JMO ------------------ |

Bob, I currently use the PT Cruiser luggage rack to hold two horizontal golf club bags...are there some advantages to transporting the clubs vertically (besides the fact that they look VERY cool!)? |

Kelly I thought I would get more grief for the large corvette banner! Bob, I just thought they would haul better upright, also the picture does not show it well but the hoop at the top has a divider so if you haul only 1 bag it will not flop around and the hoops also open up. CT, if I offered them painted they would cost more, but that does not mean I would not paint them if people wanted them that way. ------------------ |

Potential BIG Problem. The golf bags cover the license plate. I know the cops in my area would not like that. The bag carrier would need a relocated bracket to attach a plate. Love the idea of taking the Kat to the club (Klub?). If it works out, I'll get one for me too. ------------------ This message has been edited by kevina on 01-09-2004 at 05:42 PM |
