That nose piece reminds me of what the front of a NASCAR stocker looks like after running the Daytona 500. At any rate it's the worst I have ever seen. I would hate to see the rest of the car.

Wow that nose looks like he was following a truck over Donner summit with the truck being right behind a Cal-Trans truck dumping grit on the road

$500 for a starting bid seems high to me maybe not. However, I would think starting with one in better condition without the chips would be a better way to go, even for more money

Guy says it is referred to as front bumper cover, in parts manual. Shows you how much i know. He also says it's also supposed to be $900 new. I scratched my Candy's once 2nd time i drove it. (Not bad)Its never happened again! Why call it a Bumper Cover if the car comes with 2 plastic ones??

NOT TRUE!

NOT TRUE!

I have two printed sources that say otherwise:

1. I have a printed parts list for every prowler part, got it at a car show summer before last (year and a half ago). It shows:
Panel, Front 5003071AA $594.00

2. On an insurance estimate using what seems to be the Industry Standard computerized estimator (run by Geico using "Pathways - a product of CCC Information Services Inc.") it shows:
Front Panel $594.00 (this was February 2002)

Knowing that these parts are available for 30% off, shipping included, you can draw your own conclusion.

Also, assuming you're going to have it repainted, the condition is not that bad. As long as there are no cracks or damage other than the massive stone chips, it would be quite useable. In just a few years, we would be wishing parts in that condition were available.
