The interesting thing is if you go to their website and try to price out the car, it's not much cheaper than buying the real thing. ------------------ |

quote: Unless adding an engine is going to cost about $30K, it's considerably less. The total car (sans engine) is only $13K. The only options I saw added about $3K more. That leaves about $30K for the engine to be the same price as a Prowler. That probably would be one helluva V8 for $30K. ------------------ Mods: 2001 Speed Yellow Porsche Cabriolet |

I usually say to each their own but this is too much even for me to let slide. No way no how. Well if it were free maybe for a beater car. If I knew nobody would see me driving it. Voodoo |

Kurt, You are correct, I visited the shop that makes these, before I bought my Kat; and to get the car with a high power V8, power everything and nice suspension it was going to be $40,000 plus. I had checked into thinking that I could get all those things for about $25,000. Nope. I bought the real thing, with warranty. ------------------ |

Sorry folks... I have to be honest... In actuality, I do own two Growlers. One is red. The other is black with tan trim. You can see them here: http://www.damonc.com/prowler/pic_07.jpg ------------------ |
