I have wanted a puddle car since 1st seeing it back in `96 at the dealer. I tried to talk him out of it but NO DEAL. Then trying to get one off ebay and they got WAY out of reach for me.

One booth I stopped at to look at the JUNK he had for sale, he had a purple prowler in the box that looked like most the misprint cars. On futher inspection I seen dealers limited edition. This really got my interest even though the box was not in very good shape. The car was absolutly filthy dirty, but mounted under the car was THE PUDDLE.

I ask how much and he said that was a special car that was given to dealers at a meeting. His asking price $100....I made a mistake by wearing my tee shirt with my car air brushed on it......I asked if he would take any less, knowing $100 was a good deal...he thought for a minute and said $80...I again tried to talk him down... he would not budge from that price and I didn't want to see Gene walking around with it so the $80 exchanged hands and I'm the Proud owner of a `96 Puddle Prowler....YEAH!!!!!
