I paid thru the nose, but it's mine. Now dont go tellin me you have one and paid a quarter for it or would have sold yours for 50 bucks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=594302871&ed=998360649 ------------------ This message has been edited by butchcee on 08-20-2001 at 09:47 PM |

I saw those at TOYS R US for $19.95 but they only had purple so I passed it up. lol. Looks good Al. I would think it will go up in value if it is a limited edition. That is a pretty nice item to have. |

Thanks Ed, I missed your sarcasm while you were gone. Where's your sidekick? Not sure if it will go up in value, but I thought it was different. Interesting to see the headlight, trunk and side panel change from this concept model. Chris, If you were following the bid, you see that Bobcat was bidding on it too. Guess I wanted it more then him.-sorry Bobcat, no hard feelings I hope. The Prowler paperweight is cool-one more thing for the collection~ huh? ------------------ This message has been edited by butchcee on 08-21-2001 at 02:50 AM |

Al, Sasquatch is in Monroe, MI for the rest of the week. I think he is Honeymooning. It will be kind of peaceful without him posting for awhile. You ought to post that email about the 1500's on the off topic section. That was the most interesting thing I hve ever read on the computer. Share it with everyone else. |

Hey Al, Congratulations on your fine collectable. I too saw it on ebay but didn't want to get in a bidding war with fellow POA comrads. I sure would like to have one though so it might get crazy if another one comes up at auction. Doc-Man |

Yeah, but I thought the guy was crazy, didnt know what it was really. I am not into the purple cars to much but I like rare memorabilia and it looked neat. I'm sure another will turn up eventually. I, like you, have a strong preference for the yellow cars, I have about 70 antique Caterpillar bulldozers and other Cat machines so its been said I bleed yellow,We have 6 prowlers but the yellow is my #1. I am so glad a POA friend got the item, I will try not to bid against you but as they say, all is fair in love and prowler memorabilia on ebay!!! |

70 antique Cats!!! Sounds like you have the market cornered if there's a Mad Max 3 movie being filmed in your area and they need some heavy iron to modify for the shoot. Dozer Demo Derby. Think about it Bob, could be a whole new trend. Larry, Ed wouldn't bid that high~he's saving for that new Wing I'm changing my E name~goin underground ------------------ |

Big Al, tell the filmmakers that they missed it. The Preble (Prebble) County, Ohio features a combine demotlition derby every year. Unfortunately it is the same week-end as Woodward so we did not go this year. We have been to it 3 or 4 times in the past. A friend drives in it usually. For the people who went to Deadwood, Dale drives in the Combine Demo Derby. I didn't bid on the Prowler but it is a nice item. Al I was also told there were a lot of new Honda colors this year. I got on the www.Honda.com site and am disappointed. The illusion red is the same as last year and they added an illusion blue. I haven't seen the blue in person yet. Pauley is contemplating buying a new Wing. |
