CJ- We haven't had to try yet. However, I think that if it were a QUICK yes/no they would peel off easily. Over a longer period, I don't know, seemed really sticky to me.

David... GREAT pictures... THANKS for sharing these with the other undecided Cat owners. The Shimmers can be removed without any damage to the Cat's bumper, however they cannot be reused. They are attached via 3M automotive adhesive which is strong enough to require some effort to remove, thus destroying the individual emblem. They were intended to stay, but if you want to change colors, they can be removed and then replaced with a "new" set. Any additional questions can be addressed by calling me @ 800 669 3540. THANKS for your continued interest, Jay

CJ, I felt the same way about my cat. I did not want to destroy it from being original. That's why I did not have it it painted. The Shimmers add to the car and will not hurt the bumpers with that 3M adhesive. It's not glue, it's just a sticky back on the letters.

If you want to see some pictures of a set of yellow shimmers. Go to the topic Shimmers are awesome. Have some pics of yellow on my yellow cat. On the back of a school bus, you know how the yellow reflects when your headlights are on it, that's how the yellow ones reflect at night. It looks like if it is lit up.
