Well, I just got back from dinner tonight with my wife (and supercharged car) and the "v" belt is still on.

I added washers to space the sepentine belt tensioner as I described in the Technical Questions & Answers of this board.

All seems well. Please feel free to share your supercharger experiences here.

Mike,

My Prowler is still at Apex Motor Sports waiting for the boost gauge from Paxton. I'm just craving to drive at least a whole good week to break in the Paxton.

I also need to fix a huge staple that ended up puncturing my front right tire allowing me to experiance the run flat sensor in my tires. I found it intersting that there are several levels of warning chimes. If the pressure is a certain level, it will chime once plus blink the low tire light. If its really low, it will chime all the time plus blink the low tire light. Pretty cool!

Later....

John,

Is paxton leaving the venturi plate on or off (Note: The goldish looking ring)?

If they leave it on, just want to give you a heads up and not get disappointed. Your prowler will feel like if it does not have a blower on. This was the feedback Apex gave me. I only drove it with the venturi off, so, don't know how it might have felt with it on.
In other words, if you are only making the 5-6 lbs of boost, you might not be all that happy. I'm glad I never drove it when it was making 5-6 lbs of boost.

If you are doing your exhaust on Saturday, I would like to go with you to take some pics and bring your camera too so that we can take exhaust sounds of your stock mufflers.

Have a safe trip back.

Informed by David Adams Jr. car to be tuned to 8lbs of boost. I will check on the what was done when I get there.
The muffler guy is closed this sat., droping my car off on Monday night and pick up Tuesday around noon. Gives me the weekend to put some miles on with the stock exhaust. Get in touch if you have some time, well play making movies again,,lol..
