I've been trying to reach Bob Goetz's Real Rod to see if he's got any nerf bars yet, and have been unable to reach him. I sent a couple of emails, and never got a reply. His official phone number's voice mailbox is completely filled, and the two calls I made to him before the mailbox filled were never returned. ALL of the suggested phone numbers for Real Rod at the prowleronline.com site (3 additional besides the site-listed number) have been disconnected. I talked to Bob in September re: the nerf bars, and he said that "I've got 15 orders for them so far, and when I get to 25 I'll have them made...You'll probably be able to get some in November." I've entered my recently-trueflamed black Prowler in the 2008 Sacramento Autorama car show (Feb.9-11), and in my application I said that one of the mods on the car were my nerf bars. Is Real Rod out of business? Did Bob have a stroke? Did he move to Nigeria to do email scams? Does ANYBODY know how to get ahold of this guy? Please send an email to steverounds@comcast.net if you know how to actually get through to him. Thanks. |

In a nut shell Front Body Protectors were made from cast aluminum, the plugs to make them were worn out they wanted $2000 to make new ones and almost doubled my casting cost for the raw part that would have meant my hard cost to do a run of 20 sets about $600 a set, I took a set to a machine shop to have them made from machined aluminum, the programing is done!!!!!!! as far as the over all shape now they need to thin them down to take some weight out of them and then I need to reconfigured the mounting brackets. So it is being worked on. My focus right now is getting the Weekenders out that are on order and way past due once this is done I will be back on it. Also for those that do not know Real Rod is NOT A FULL TIME JOB for me anymore I have a 60 hour a week regular job and cannot always answer the phone the best way to reach me is using the Private Message on this site as I do try to look at this site a couple times a day. So with all this said I am still here I am still making parts for the time being, I am looking at relocating to Michigan in the spring and if I do I will need to moth ball the Real Rod operation for at least 6 months, so if any members here would like to purchase all the molds, web site and programing along with the rights to the parts Real Rod is for sale. ------------------ |

Geno and Snowman's coming to Moddersville, If Bob come's also. Will just pray for us as we will need it. Bob heard about our low low property tax's here in the city of Moddersville and can't wait to move to a place as nice. Although Bob may not move to Moddersville he is still welcome to partake in our fine fluid's.(come on over) ------------------ |

dhp and cnilejr You may want to send Bob a Private Message. That is what he posted is the best way to reach him. "the best way to reach me is using the Private Message on this site" |
