Hello all...well I've finally done it! After viewing the discussions on this board since last October, I've finally come out of the closet(so to speak)! I live in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio and bought a yellow '99 last October. I have to say it was one of the most exciting days of my life. When my 16 year old son arrived home from school that day and saw the Prowler in the garage, he had tears in his eyes. When I told him he could not drive it to school, he said "Dad, I don't have to drive it, the kids only have to know we own one!" That says it all. (yes, I let him drive around the block) It's snowing here so my Prowler is in storage for a while. I am REALLY looking forward to getting out this spring and meeting up with all of the other Prowler owners. To Ed Monahan....THERE ARE OTHER OWNERS IN OHIO !!! I've have seen at least 3 other Prowlers in West Chester since I purchased mine. I'm looking forward to meeting up with you. Maybe we can get all of us together some weekend. I've learned a lot in the last several months about aftermarket performance parts and I am ready to start catching up to some of you. Although some people here have WAY TOO MUCH money to spend. Sounds like Prowler Pro may be my first stop! That's all for now....hurry up Springtime! ------------------ |

Ken - Welcome to the POA board. The story about your son seeing the car in the garage for the first time, brought a big smile to my face. Wish I had a son to have shared that with. Prowlers and human interest stories are what we are about. Ed has been lonely for a long time, so go gently with him! Don't let him talk you into any 5,000 motorcycle rides, the man doesn't know his limitations! ------------------ This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 01-20-2001 at 11:00 PM |

Ken, welcome aboard and don't believe any of the lies that these people tell about me. Once the weather breaks there are a lot of cruise ins around the area. WGRR has one every other Tue at various locations. Frisch's in Mt.Carmel just off of I-275 has one every Friday. I have only seen 3 or 4 Prowlers in the area and most of them only once or twice. Looking forward to meeting you and maybe we can get some activities going around here. I wanted to lead the Opening Day Parade but can't get enough response to even approach them. For you other people, Opening Day is a NATIONAL Holiday (locally). |

Ken, Welcome to the POA and are out of the closet. Were you abused as a child and forced in there? Or just feel comfortable in confined spaces, WHICH IS A GOOD THING DRIVING THE CAT WITH THE TOP UP I live In Indianapolis, so just up 74 from you. Once the weather breaks we will have to have Mid West meet. "WildCat" ------------------ |

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting the Kat out of cold storage. I'm jealous of all of you owners down south! Ed....Opening Day sounds like a terrific idea..I'll try to work on that too! I am a season ticket holder but I'm sure that won't carry much weight! Richard...Brunch sounds great. Maybe Ed and a few others in the area would join us. I would like to hear your Borla exhaust before I put out the cash for an upgrade. ------------------ |

Ken, welcome. We live in Northern Warren Co., close to Springboro. I didn't realize how many Kat owners we have in the SW Ohio, Central Ohio area. This is great. We have to plan some kind of SW Ohio get together when the weather breaks and we can get the Kats out of hibernation...maybe in April or May. Looks like we could probably round up a dozen or so. Maybe meet somewhere for lunch prior to a cruise-in. ------------------ |

Ed, I'd be interested in the parade too. I got a line today on someone I'm told is heavily involved in the parade. I left a message at his home and am waiting a reply to see what he's got to say about some prowlin in the parade. Andy Rapach ------------------ |

The guy I talked to last year was the head of the parade last year but I don't know if he is still in charge. he is a butcher at Findlay Market. I will stop down there and see what he has to say. Thanks. |
