This message has been edited by Lexxor on 02-11-2015 at 01:08 PM . There is one kit Cobra in PHX done like that,,,plus one M-Benz sedan done in gold 'wrap' here,,,so it must not be a problem in AZ. Call a local wrap shop in your area, and ask them about it.. This message has been edited by ALLEY CAT on 02-11-2015 at 01:38 PM I would venture to guess it would hold up about half as well as after market window tint. That Prowler up above is ALSO SWEET in chrome attire. ------------------ This message has been edited by TooHipCat on 02-28-2015 at 05:28 PM Lexxor The last time I saw this Prowler was online in Florida. Does anyone know if it's illegal to chrome panels like this in some states. Not planning on doing this. Just curious about legalities.

Looks like chrome 'wrap'.....Lexxor Thanks for re-posting the link alley cat. That was my thought that it was chrome wrap. The sun at the right angle could definitely blind you. That's why I was wondering if it was legal. To much bling for me. Michael Pond Never heard of any state regulating the color of a car!! ed monahan I am sure there is no law covering what color it is, but you could probably get cited for causing a traffic hazard, same as shining a laser at a plane, etc.
I'm sure it isn't universal in every jurisdiction.padroo I wonder how the wrap holds up over time and especially something so shiny. Would it scratch a lot easier than paint and look like crap? Drew Love the chromed Prowlers!, I think it's beautiful! alrtg quote:

There are small scratch marks all over it from washing I think .. Even though I like it I would have to pass on having it on a car .. ?? Greg and Veta I would only do it if I had one of the less desirable color Prowlers... jimsutton GREG ARE YOU SAYING RED ??? beachcat The vinyl is pretty tough. I can do things to mine that I wouldn't do to paint. If you scratch it, you can heal it by running a heat gun over it. But I imagine the chrome would be more tempermental. Landscape Doctor I do not know much about wrap but I think it would take major talent to wrap a car like the Prowler. Not to many flat areas. Chi_Town_Prowler Certain cars with sexy body lines do look good in chrome.
I had seen a Shelby Cobra at the company in Vegas done up in chrome and it was sweet.Randy Cobb I like it better than I thought I would. Piddler NO!
