(I tried to find an actual link right to it but could not so you will have to take the few steps to open it)

The Reporter says Kees, one of our members, is from Holland MICHIGAN (yes there is such a place) but as we know, he is WRONG!! Kees IS from Holland (Europe) Picture #9

Looked like a great time....

pumpkinThanks.
ALLEY CATLet's try this link:
http://info.detnews.com/pix/photogalleries/newsgallery/08162007_prowlers/index.htm

A few pictures from the above link:

New Chrysler LLC CEO Robert Nardelli drove his personal Prowler to a gathering of about 150 Chrysler and Plymouth Prowlers at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills on Thursday, Aug, 16, 2007. Nardelli said at the event, which marked the 10th anniversary of the company's roadster, that the new Chrysler will not reduce capital spending. The Prowler was made from 1997 to 2002.

Robert Nardelli smiles for photographers as he drives his own Prowler at the event. After spotting one car with painted flames, he seemed sheepish about his own set of wheels, purchased in 2000. "I have to work on mine," he said. "It's pretty basic."

TooHip Brian >> I think I see you and your car? Row 42, 6 from the left? Isn't that you?

AC, That's me "Director of Security" next to Geno. Nice shot! Michael T.

ALLEY CATMichael T. > thanks for IDing yourself,,,I wasn't aware who it was for sure. We have so many bald, old guys in this group

One more thing Michael,,,,if you want to be Director of Security** at a big Prowler event,,,,,,,,,you have to out-drink Geno, Meancat, and Ronnie Behr to achieve that title.

**Warning >>> hasn't been done to date!
Can you confirm your title?

Michael TAC,
I'll let Meancat have that title as I saw the way he could pound them. (And actually there is a full head of hair before it was shaved) Michael T.
ALLEY CATMichael > good decision yielding to Meancat,,,,his blood flows at 98 Proof constantly,,lol.

You have hair? OK,,,I take back calling you an old, bald guy, sorry. Many are jealous of my luster locks,,,,like its my fault that I have more nose and ear hair than those smoothies have on their heads!

ETMIDZTPulled into town a couple of hrs. ago from The Woodward Dream Cruise. The Gal asked if I was in the group that was in the Muskegon Chronicle. I asked . Where was the pic taken. She said, Chrysler. Opened the Friday paper......YUP the there's the whole gang..The overhead shot in the Museum parking lot made our Chronicle!!
What a Hoot!

ed monahanWednesday night there were 98 Prowlers in the two hotel parking lots. I did not go over to the Hilton to see how many were there. On Thursday there were a lot more that arrived. Also, most of the locals would not have been in the lot at 3 AM, when I counted. I did not count the cars in the picture, but I am sure we will be able to get a count.
What a blast.
Stray CatKraut,

How did you find the picture from the Detroit News ? I purchased both papers Saturday and nothing. Would love to get a hard copy of them....

Thanks and it was good to see you !

Laddie RousselThe pics were in the Friday addition of Detroit News. I would also like to get hard copy...
KrautJohn,

Here's the article with the picture. It's really not a very good quality image as copied from the article, but maybe there's way to get a high res copy from the paper.

I'm waiting for the Chrysler photographer's negatives to be released to the POA. Those should be good ones.

Kraut

ETMIDZTYou got that right Kraut! We need the negative.

ed monahanChrysler is buying the negative and giving it to the POA (CJ). They are paying $ 1500 for it. Another extremely nice gesture on the part of Chrysler. They are taking pretty good care of us, in spite of what some folks post.
The POA can use it to make posters, T-shirts, whatever.
