Kevin KHello All
I am new to the group, just bought 2001 mullhulland edition
Prowler with 3500mi in new cond.Is there any quirks about
the car I should be aware of,it runs and drives perfect.
I've had several old muscle cars in the past including a gts viper but now older and wiser hopefully.Any input would
be appreciated.
Thanks Kevin
DUSTIA NEW BAMA OWNER...........SWEEEEET !

Wayne FinchWelcome
SuperKatHello Kevin and welcome.
You will love the car. Learn to wave and smile; everyone who sees you will do the same. Hope to meet you and the rest of the Alabama gang very soon. Lots of good folks out your way.
Gordon
ed monahanWelcome. I would suggest you read THE PROWLER STORY on the main menu. It will answer a lot of general questions.
There are some problems with the inner barrel of the wheels flaking. Get ceramic brake pads ON THE FRONT ONLY and get mud flaps from the dealer.
The transmission input and output sensors are somewhat of a weak link and they cost about $ 15 to 20 and are available at NAPA. Be careful not to get beheaded with the hood falling. Don't cut your knuckles on the stock exhaust tips.
Don't lean into the car and release the seat back. The spring is the same one used to launch and stop planes on aircraft carriers. lol
Again, welcome and don't worry about all those annoying problems. They are not universal and the car is still way cool and a blast to drive.
Glad you found us.
Be sure to come to Louisville in July. (oops) Maybe 125 Prowlers, no two alike. I will be the guy with the best looking Prowler there. lol

You get a new on ED?LOL
Welcome to the best place on earth.

Joe LombardoWelcome. I'm almost as new as you. I bought a 2001 Mulholland with 2200 miles sand am finding this forum awesome in help, information and comaraderie. I've learned so much I even ordered thos transmission sensors you just learned about. Even that little bit of info, incl. the parts numbers from NAPA is just so helpful. I think you're going to struggle, as I am right now, on wheter to keep the car as a totally stock example, or be tempted to buy all of these mafnificent products like chrome grilles, s/s front a-arm covers, etc., etc., etc.
Have fun, enjoy and make the decision that are right for you. Joe
BeWareKevin congrats and welcome to the POA
meandmykittySNO I THINK ED MEANT THE OLDEST PROWLER OWNER? NOT THE BEST LOOKING PROWLER.

Didn't AC mention that he would be the BEST LOOKING guy there?

You do know that he and Fabio were separated at birth!

I'm sure you can see the resemblance.
