Kruisin KatOn Ebay there is a black Prowler item # 4588200201, Looks real good interior and exterior with low miles. Heres the fishy part; look at the engine bay. It looks like its been mudding with the boys in the field! (flood vehicle?)

My work trucks have cleaner engine bays.

When I had my cat, the battery died while sitting in the garage most of the winter. Perked right back up when hooked to a charger for a day. Not that big a deal...

Bob GoetzYesterday while running to wisconsin to get a wiring harness I ran into this guy trying to wholesale this exact car. Rims are shot on the inside, paint looks pretty good only a few scratchs ( car was dirty so really hard to tell ) A-arms are polished, calipers are chromed but are peeling. Does look like some paint work has been done on at least drivers side rear quarter. He was asking $30000 his name was Ken Mc Neail and his cell number is 612-558-6304 if anyone here wants to buy it I would be more than happy to look it over for you if he will run it over to my shop. I think they would take $25,000 as I think I know where the car came from.

so did you put it back on after you jumped your car? My point was that they had to do something around the battery.
As was said, it doesn't make sense that they would spiff up the car and leave the underhood a mess--even if it wasn't cleaned, how did it get so dirty?..unless it was sitting in a shop with the hood up for a long time?

quincyYea,you guys are right. Looks like the vehicle sat in a body shop with the hood up for many months. Lots of dust under the hood. Looks light grey instead of black. Buyer beware! You would think if they wanted to flip this baby they would have spent 15 minutes with a garden hose and a few rags to clean up prior to the photo shoot!
BeWareYou can see how bad the wheels are peeling. Also in one picture the nose is really scraped up badly. I agree about the engine bay being so dirty. Almost had to be sitting in a body shop with the hood up or something.
ProwlinNMIs it me or does the rear look a little higher than stock? Lifted somehow?

I thought that too - the whole car appears to have a higher stance - could be the angle of the photos. I even looked at my car to see how much space between the bottom of the car and the ground right at the doors - but I have oversized tires on the rear of mine.

What's the deal with the top of the grill? Looks melted?
Bob, you say you think you know where the car came from. Can you share details?

chasmccartLooks like where they rested the cheap jumper cables when they were trying to start it.

I wonder how much air restriction he has with those Big Lights stuffed in front of the grill.???? and if it overheated???

Toys

392HEMII have those same parking/turn lights in my new Kat and had it on the hiway yesterday, no heat problem in mid 80's temp. Blew Buyou said it!
pumpkinI also have my parking lights in the same location.Have had them in for over a couple years and no problem with my temperture getting hot.
Bob GoetzIt dawned on me after I left that the car may be the one that was painted white with blue flames? but the more I thought about it that car was a 99? as it had the 99 shifter bezel, this one says its a 2000 and has the chrome bezel. The VIN# confirms this is a 2000. Again if someone wants me to look at it I will if he will bring it to my place.

If you look very closely, you can see that those are NOT marks of any kind. They are actually reflections of some trees above and behind the camera.

DrewGood call Ghost, grill looks fine in other shots. Wishing my tires had that much tread left on them.

Went and saw BT #8 today. Now that is a vehicle that appears to have been mudding. Are the front rims ptted you ask? Can't tell from the 1/16th inch of brake dust covering the rims. You would figure they would at least change the oil! Scary when you see a car like that.
