Marty UsherI was thinking about all the modifications I have made and looking at ones other people have made to their Prowlers.

After reading numerous posts over the last two years about people not liking the side markers or wanting side panels with a vent or scoop, it is surprising how few actually are willing to order these things when someone finds a way to produce them.

Compared to the tens of thousands of customers for aftermarket parts for Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, etc. the market for Prowler parts is virtually non existant.

Thanks to those vendors who have made items available for us.

Black Tie 161Yes...It takes guts and a real love of the car to make an aftermarket part with the potential of such a low volume of sales.

Just a thought... many still have car payments to make. Perhaps when the car is paid for they would be more willing to spend monies on mods.

jmcant1I have Tom Mills bumper removal/parking light relocation kit, and MTD braces and intake. My hats off to you guys. Met Real Rod Bob at Woodward last year. Haven't purchased from him yet but wouldn't hesitate to. Just got my chrome grill yesterday (from POA classifieds). Can't wait to get it installed and take some pictures!

Gene - it would nice to get more of them out of your basement and on your Prowler!

ed monahanMine is still stock.

------------------

dpenaMine is more stock in the exterior and way less stock in the interior ...

Although, I just got the TGF rear belly pan with the bumper cut outs thru REAL ROD . I also have had Tony's COOL SIDE PANELS and because of his panels I get 10 pounds of boost everytime anytime I floor it. In the past without these panels I would get 10 pounds of boost when the KAT is cold but when it reached normal operating temperatures my boost would go down to 7 to 8 pounds. This is do to Tony's snorkle that connects the paxton breathing element to see outside air.

Thank you PROWLERONLINE, REAL ROD, PROWLER PRO, PAXTON, JAY HARRIS, Tony Goertz, PROWLER PRODUCTS BY GARYE ....

It is so true!
On what else would I rather spend my money than mods to my favourite investments!

jmcant1Woo hoo! This just in...

Mike

Mike KrehelMany thanks to all the fine aftermarket companies that support the Prowler and the POA website!

CJMarty.......you're right and it is great that there are vendors who have invested time and money into producing aftermarket parts for the Prowler. Sometimes people complain about some of the things they don't particularly like about the car (side marker lights, bumpers, etc.) but it doesn't mean that they REALLY want to change it or can afford to.

Your comment about tens of thousands of customers for the "other" aftermarket parts pretty much says it all. There is just over ten thousand Prowlers period. Not a huge market for parts and the investment it takes to develop and sell them. All the more reason to thank those who have done it.

BeWare I too would like to thank the Prowler aftermarket vendors for their efforts.
CTProwlerThanks guys!!!!Bob, Gary, Tom, Jay, and anyone else i missed for the great Mods!!!

YELLER CATHi y'all...

It is a "Labor of LOVE" for the Prowler that keeps me moving forward with the exclusive hand-crafted products. However there are other benefits (huge profits excluded) such as the many, many NEW FRIENDSHIPS that have developed along the way... "you meet the nicest people when you own a Prowler".

THANKS to every Prowler Owner for their continued support (business & personal) as Nancy and I look forward to the next Prowlin' Adventure.

Sincerely, Jay

PS... I forgot to mention the IRS deductions and deprecations.

Tom MillsYou are all WELCOME.
As Jay said it is a "labor of love". I guess it must be, I have no other excuse. It sure has taken a lot of my "retired" time. (good thing I am not working any more). I still plan to have the rear panel done soon.
Tom

Randy CobbAll the aftermarket vendors I have dealt with have been fantastic!

Not only do they sell you the products at what I think are fair prices, but they also stand behind their products and give you valuable advice.
