Gene, If you are speaking of the one on eBay (that comes up when you type in prowler). It states that this car was wrecked but, the damage was very minor. And as such now has a rebuilders/salvage title. I don't think new/used ones have a rebuilder title (not 100% sure though). If they do, the Esparante should too, I guess. Very minor damage now makes it a salvage title?
I thought that was reserved for totalled cars? They also want $71K for it. I'm pretty sure they were cheaper then that new (and not wrecked) LOL!!!

It is my understanding that classification of titles vary from state to state. I also understand that some states have a threshold for the dollar value of the repairs before you are required to classify as "salvage". I was told by an inspection co. that Florida requires a salvage title reclassification on any vehicle that has been damaged.
Anyone that has more knowledge of title work than me, please correct me.Randy |

Randy, You mean a tiny dent in a fender makes a car's title change to salvage in Florida? That can't be right. (I'm not saying it isn't, it just seems incredible if that were the case). I also buy alot of cars, mostly used high dollar exotics, and a number from Florida. I know several have had minor damage and have been professionally redone but, none have ever carried a salvage title. If anyone knows about this, please chime in.... |

I'm with you. I'm sure dinks, scratches, etc. aren't classified as damage. I don't know the definition of damage in Fl. I'm just passing along what little I know from my limited experience in trying to purchase two cars in Fl.I agree that it would be good to know the facts since many POA members and potential Prowler purchasers do national searches for cars. |
| Mike Krehel | I think the Panoz is a nice looking car, but after driving one a few weeks ago, the Prowler in comparison seems like a luxury vehicle. Here are some of the things I immediately experienced:
1- The Panoz is very difficult to get in and out of.
2- Considering it has a stick and V8, I expected greater performance.
3- The turning radius is ridiculously wide.

| Gene | On salvage titles in FL.I am told if damage is greater than 80% of value it is a total loss and if repaired it will carry a rebuilders[salvage]title and can be ID by first two letters of new vin starting with FL then numbers.Alittle more than minor damage I'd say. |
