John Davies and Marc Scarbeary rolled into town about 7:00 pm tonight. Bob, WildBill and I were out hunting down spark plugs for the RUMBLER and we decided to head down Woodward to see what was going on. We stopped at a restaurant at 13 and Woodward called Duggan's for dinner. Had a great meal and watched the hot rods roll by. Got a call from Marc that they were in town. It was impossible to be out on Woodward in a Durango.....I was itchin' to get back home and roll the Candy out. Bob had to try to get the RUMBLER running, so WildBill and I headed out in the Candy Cat to pick up JD and Marc. We headed to Woodward and there were already tons of hot rods out there cruising. I don't know who was smiling more..JD or Marc. We cruised for a while and stopped on the way home so Marc and JD could get something to eat. We called Bob to see how he was doing and he was grinnin' ear to ear. The RUMBLER was back together and running!! We hurried back to our house to see the car and Bob gave each of the guys a ride.............they are still grinnin'!! Tomorrow is clean up day for John and Marc. I've got some last minute things to do and then I am going to clean up Bob's Rumbler for him. Marc, JD and WildBill volunteered to help. Barring any weather complications.........we will all be out on Woodward again tomorrow night! Can't wait until everyone gets here!!! JD asked me to post these pictures for him!
