------------------ More 'Pumpkin' photos and Mod Stuff . . . . . . . Our other cars and stuff "I may have to grow older, but I do not have to grow up!" "The Prowler is not a car to go from Point A to Point B. The Prowler is the Point!" that is where I first saw this picture... Quincy, That one is white, not pearl white. ...a white Kat needs red interior I feel that Pearl White would look AWESOME on a Prowler!!! Brian Wouldn't using a black be easier? Then you may not need to completly disassemble the car to paint areas like the firewall.? Don't really know. Maybe TUIB can answer this since he recently did a color change. This message has been edited by Paul B on 10-14-2006 at 09:17 PM ...a white Kat needs red interior OR DARK BLUE.............LOL Fastback in New Castle is the expert in changing colors on Prowlers. a black car would be best, but for the money if another color comes along and the difference in blacking out trunk and firewall is less than buying a black car MUTE POINT. Wouldn't using a black be easier? Then you may not need to completly disassemble the car to paint areas like the firewall.? Don't really know. Maybe TUIB can answer this since he recently did a color change. ...we also blacked out the inside of the trunk.....the inside of the lid is Tangelo though....my idea was when the tangelo Kat changes color the next time it will be a much easier job... Piddler Here is my story, question and your thoughts.
Been thinking about getting another Prowler for a
while now.
With that line of thought, it seems a little "crazy" (used this word because I don't know the right word to use) to have two of the same kind of car.
But I think the Prowler is such a good looking car, I may have to look over that thought.
It all started when I told myself that I would like to have another one to drive everyday, anywhere, anytime, any weather and keep the Candy one for weekends.
So comes the next question, how much to spend.
There is some good deals out there, $22000 to $30000 is what
I am thinking about spending to buy the project car.
Best deal so far is a 99 for 24.
This brings me to the next step.
Of course I can't leave it along, chrome A arms, bumper-less kits, hard top then the paint.
This brings me to what this post is about.
Been doing the search thing on white Prowlers and found this picture.
The "seem to be" best deal is on a red 99 with chrome Arms with 45000 mi for $24, or buy the Inca gold 02 on the board for about $28.
I guess my question is,
Does anyone have a "Pearl White" Prowler?
Check Out My Scrapbook marvin gohl planned on making my 01 silver like that this winter magnummrk I have thought about doing a two tone in that color! BeWare That was one of my top choice of colors to use if I ever get a 2nd Prowler. Which someday I hope to do. Bob Miller It's a stunning color for sure and I'd LOVE to see one in person when someone does it! quincy Only one I know of has manufacturers plates on it and is still owned by Chrysler! pumpkin Love it. halicat Roman talked about this a couple of years ago.... I have heard that a guy up in Amherst,NH painted his kat Pearl White to match a street rod that he also owns. I still have'nt seen it yet. Could be a garage queen.
JMO The pearl pigmentation will just *POP* in the sunlight.Dale Beaman 06 Toyota Avalon's have a white metallic that I think would look even better on the Prowler. Randy Cobb I think the pearl white would be unreal. Paul B I was checking this color out myself not too long ago. Take a look at the Sherwin Williams "Planet Color" paints, I believe there are 13 or 16 pearl whites and you can control the pearl and sparkle of the paint with very very small glass spheres that are in the paint. Its a really cool product and looks great. Not as expensive as the house of colors paints, PPG...etc. WildCat quote:

...disassembly time on a Kat is very small....better paint job and "blacking out" the firewall etc is easy even with the engine in place...color of donor Kat is of no consequence to the final look...Randy Cobb Thanks TUIB for your experienced response.
