meancatOk, some of my many, many memories is playing cards in the parking lot under the stars all night long. Seeing and having fun with all my Prowler friends and my SSR friend. Kevin taking me all the way up, as far as we could go(to the gate) to see Tim McGraw. Thanks again Kevin, that was a blast. Watching Louise beat 1HotCat at the drag strips. hearing CNotes horn and sparkler show. There was many more for me, but this could turn into the longest thread ever.

My most embarrassing moment was on the ferry going home. Jerry can fill you in on that.

So what is everyone else's memories for the week.

Kim

Bob GoetzSunday eating steaks ( Thanks Bob & CJ, Jerry & Kim ), pulling in the parking lot seeing we were filling it up.

Monday seeing my car return to the hotel in 1 piece after Pauly and Peggy used it for the day, then cookin some brats and hangin with my old friends and getting to know some new ones.

Tuesday going boating with Pauly , Peggy and Ron on the upper Dells then off to the group photo and chillin in the Parking lot again.

Wednesday going to the Drag Races, taking over the Chrysler Dealership for photos, being escorted to the best parking possible for the concert wearing my new dentures as we passed everyone that walk over a mile.

Thursday arriving in La Crosse to sunshine, seeing some large eagles on the river run, serving my POA Buddies at the restaurant we took over and one member that did not know me very well said you have a good farmers tan so I pulled my sleeve up and told here I was tan all over as the Real Rod complex sits in the middle of a nudists colony , then taking over the Drive In burger stand, avoiding the accident that almost ended the Real Rod Kat, then taking County Road W as a short cut to the hotel, Margaritas during the group dinner and raising enough cash during the auction to make a sick kids dream come true ( more to follow later this week ) BIG THANKS TO ALL THAT PROVIDED ITEMS AND TO THOSE THAT DUG DEEP.

Friday cruising the upper dells in the pontoon was great and from that trip circling that poor guy with his wife threaten to board him and take her was great fun, then finding the tour boat with a few members on it and ........ I am sure a photo will surface. Grilling hot wings and burgers and hangin out again in the parking lot. Also so the beer drinkers all know we cleaned out the Dells of Mic Golden Light!

Also meeting the OTHER LARRY BELL, and leaving a gift for the old one.

ADDED!!!! Seeing my buddy Neal B feeling so GOOD!

jkburnsThe trek from the hotel to the photo shoot was pretty cool, as the local police blocked off street corners. The looks from the locals and other tourists were priceless.

Also, the trip to the Easter Seals Camp on Tuesday evening was right up there. I'll never forget one of my new friends being lifted into the Kat by 2 counselors and sitting behind the wheel with a huge grin on his face. A moment later he leaned forward and started the car...much to the shock of everyone around. I thought it was really cool, and the visit made memories for the kids and the owners for years to come.

It was nice to put faces with names and enjoy getting to know everyone.

Kevin

Marty UsherThe cruise along the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers was great including Bob finding a restaurant and an Ice Cream place along the way.

Taking 10 year Ben with me during the 3 hour cruise on Tuesday. Jeff - I was glad to see Ben now has a long list of mods for you to do to your Prowler!

Running so well against the new Viper at the drag strip was pretty cool and the Tim McGraw concert was fun, too.

Pontooning with POA friends, hanging out in the parking lot each evening, meeting Owners for the first time, catching up with old friends, watching Matt & Mike drag race their wheel chairs, the drive to the photo shoot.....

The whole event was most enjoyable.

Richard Jackson
This is my favorite memory. This was Ben's favorite. Note the Purple hardtop!
SumrfunEnjoyed the Monday rally, found it fun and saw some beautiful scenery. The run to the pictures, meating lots of new people and Mike and Matt really enjoyed meeting and hanging out with everyone. Wish we could have stayed longer.

ed monahanKim made Jerry wear that so when he fell down he would not get hurt. Oh wait, it was on his head and not the other end. Nevermind. lol
Stone ColdWhat a GREAT week of memories. Hanging out with Bob, Cnote, Ron, Duane & Kevin at BBQ days & the beer gardens pretending to be someone I'm not LOL.Thanks again Bob for your hospitality at your place. Out lasting Cnote drinking twice (which never happens).
Going to the drag races & watching Marty beat a Viper halfway down the track was very cool.
Hanging out at the Tim McGraw concert with VIP parking was awesome. And Kim thank you for trusting me with your life as we plowed through a sea of humanity to get to the fence, it was great!
Having Chuck as a designated driver after the concert was definitely a plus. Thanks Chuck, sorry you had to listen to repeat myself over & over again all the way home (MUCH alcohol has a tendency to do that to me sometimes).
The day runs & cruising through town nonstop to the photo shoot was great. Hanging out with old friends and meeting new ones was what it was all about. I LOVE these events & can't wait for the next one.
P.S.
Jerry, The cheesehead is definitely you.I can't wait to hear about the event on the ferry.
1HOTCATMy favorite day was the Drag Racing and Tim McGraw Concert.

Hey Guys and Louise, I got it all on video, and it turned out good. So now we can watch you Marty beat that Viper over and over again, lol, and you Louise beat Jerry Naumann. lol
We got a lot of the week on video and will bring it with us to Woodward so we can all watch it. (Hopefully I will remember it and a VCR).

Great Week

Annette

ALLEY CATGREAT event,,,all days were fun!

While I could easily forget the monday contest [losers by not turning left and ending up lost 30 miles out in cow farm land ],,,,tuesday's and wednesday's cruises out into the rural backroads of Wisconsin was awesome. Photo shoot day cruise to football field was a show stopper! Thursday's River Run Cruise,,,,,what a great day of cruising after the rain stopped early. Many laughs at the POA/Dells dinner banquet,,,,,,and additional $$$ raised for our website and charity.

Lethia and I will always cherish our 2005 Dells Invasion MEMORIES

I want to thank RR Bob, Geno, Enduro, Ray, and all the others who I have forgot to mention here for their hard work in putting this great national Prowler event together. I know the long hours involved in putting an event like this together, and we all appreciate their efforts for providing us this treasured experience. Special thanks to their spouses also,,,,,,,I'm sure many 'honey-do' lists were avoided to put this event together

LeoIt was a great week all around. I arrived Sunday to a steak cookout and left Saturday after saying goodbye to soooooo many people I had met.

In between there were all the side trips, the road rally on Monday, the near miss after passing the log truck, the unhappy guy in the white van, the infamous pontoon boat ride with Real Rod Bob, the group dinner on Thursday, the aborted takeover of another pontoon boat, swimming in the upper dells, the yellow surrender flag we never saw, the pink bikini on the beach, cookouts in the parking lot, looking at all the other Kats, finding out my trailer receiver was upside down, the road trips around the country, and all the pictures I took (maybe 400).

This was my first POA event and I'm looking forward to the next one!

CTProwlerIt was great to meet Cnote-Ron-Stone Cold-Pauley-Tangled-Marty & to many others to mention in person. I'll always remember my ride thru the country with Trey trying to find all those clues. I won't do that again next event! To much work. The ride out with The East Coast Posse was fun. Many interesting things happened, right MDProwler! The Prowlers causing a 2 car accident was not to be forgotten. Great time, to many beers and 18 hour ride home I will always remember. Great job by all the planners.

Grand Touring LouiseMy fondest memories of the Dells were arriving at the Hotel and seeing so many kats and just wanting to tour around the parking lot despite the 101 degree heat.
Making up my shopping list with Mr CJ. Thanks Bob for all the good tips.
The police escort to the photo shoot, and the VIP parking at the concert. Hearing the famous "BBQ on my white t-shirt" encore song. The Kats made us instant celebrities for a week!
Feeling the adrenelin rush at the drag races which brought back memories of my past snowmobile drag days. Thanks Real Rod for the prep talk even thought I screwed up with the staging lights.
Arriving at Modersville towers and staying in the executive suite on the 14th floor. Dining to gourmet pizza in the ballroom. Special thanks to Kim and Jerry for being such terrific hosts.
Oh, and the famous parking lot parties, talking to new and old friends, watching Real Rod in his laid back mode, Cnote and his fireworks show, Jerry with the cheese hat.
My sadest memories are saying good by and especially turning North on Hwy 117 and watching I Scream fade in the distance knowing she may be crushed some day.
What a week, what good memories and hopefully God willing many more to come.
