I am fron Kent (40 miles east London)in ENGLAND
and I am considering importing a Prowler from USA
as there are only about 10 cars in the UK so its
impossible to get one here at a sensible price.
Can anyone advise me on the pros./cons. of owning
a prowler and what sort of price to pay for a clean
car max. 15,000 miles.
I am aware of cost to ship to UK ($2,000) and I would
have to pay duty(?) and tax 17.5% here.
Any help welcomed

Bob GoetzI am sure we will have a few people post to your question. Do you have a color you prefer? since it is costly to bring the car over you should really get what you want.

Also look to our members selling cars as you will get a better used Prowler here than from most dealers.

I will have my personal car up for sale ( very modified )in a couple weeks and have a 2001 Silver ( stock ) with 4500 miles that should arrive here in the next 5 to 10 days and have a local owner with a very nice Black Tie ( stock )and matching trailer with low miles and put a buy bid on a 2001 Yellow yesterday that I should have an answer on in the next couple days.

WildCatI would suggest contacting one of the other Prowler owners so you can see the car and ask them the PRO's to owning it.

Hello Terry here. I live near New Market and would be happy to show you mine and talk about it. I plan on selling it in the near future as to I'm moving back to the states. I won't be in England till early April but write me if you want to get together.
