Wash the winter dust off of your Kats, Fill up the gas tanks, and make plans for a one of a kind East Coast Possee Custom Prowler Debut/Luncheon/Cruise/Camp-in w/bonfire. After a Winters worth of designing, painting and wrenching, MDProwler and Meangene's Prowlers will be debuted in a SPECIAL presentation with special effects. You don't want to miss this! Free luncheon to follow with cold cut platters and assorted goodies. After lunch we will be crusing the highlights of our nations Capital lead by the infamous Bob Miller. We will be seeing the Jefferson Memorial, the Awakening.Capital Hill,the Supreme Court,Washington Monument,Lincoln Memorial and the changing of the Guards at The Arlington National Cemetary. We will cruise back via the George Washington Parkway across the Potomac River which will show another vantage point of some of Washington's beautiful landmarks. We will be cruising back to Gary and Tammy's estate where we will be tent camping w/bon fire and having a beer tasting party. Sunday morning will be an ad lib cruise. Now to the particulars: When -Saturday May 6. Where -Local ECP to meet at RT 198 and RT 29 in the CVS parking lot at 10AM. From there an hour cruise north to Gary and Tammy's. For those out of town that have expressed interest or are now interested(and we hope you are)contact me with the direction you will be coming from and I will make plans at that time to link up with you. For those not camping I can supply you with the closest Hotel info. For those camping bring a tent and a sleeping bag and join us around the bonfire. The Kneppers estate lies in a beautiful rural off the beaten path setting with plenty of room for tents. There were two rooms available however one has been reserved, leaving one available on a first come basis. Please RSVP to this thread so luncheon arrangements can be made. Come for an hour, a day or overnight just come so we can start the Prowler season right! Jeff

Vernon, Virginia too. It's a nice 20 mile drive from DC down the George Washington Parkway to Mt. Vernon and George Washington's estate if time permits. It's near my house so I'll check to see what their schedule is, admission fees, etc. There's plenty of parking there and it's a historical and pretty area.

I'll put in for vacation. One question are we meeting at Gary's because we have to help put his Kat back together first? LOL I would request the 2nd free room at Gary's house, but it would be way to much confusion with girls yelling out our name all night long and you would not be able to sleep.

Several months ago I mentioned my dream of Prowling The Pacific Coastal Highway. Larry Lord saw that post and made me an offer that I will never ever forget. He said get on a plane to CA and his Kat would be waiting with a full tank and maps on the seat. That gesture of kindness has seen me through some rotten days when my wagons were being circled. So it's my turn. If you and Jay get to VA and decide you need a Kat fix, my Prowler will be waiting with a full tank and maps. And it's the right color tooas was Larry's PM me if interested and I will PM you my phone #. Jeff
