I have to do a ton of work on the prowler. Timing belts, an exhaust leak and a good bit of run of the mill service.

I can leave the car up on a two post lift for say a month maybe two as I get all of this done and as parts come in. No real damage to the suspension correct?

Suspension 'relaxed' should not be an issue whatsoever ...

Pay attention to the front and rear hoisting points as prescribed by Chrysler:

I hope you DO NOT leave the Prowler on the TWO POST lift as you know we have earthquakes here. Don't know if a two post lift would support it in the event we have a good shaker. Maybe a four post lift would be much safer. We have had a long break from any sizeable quakes here in some time, but we are way overdue. A few years ago , Placentia had a 5.1 earthquake, My neighbor almost lost his Corvette a few years ago as he stored it on the lift and DID NOT tie the car down to the lift. Took a wrecker several hours to get the car straight on the lift as it knocked one rear wheel completely off the ramp. Just letting you know from previous experience.

Hey Phil ... asides from the typically moderate temps, palm trees, and Disneyland ... and taking into account earthquakes, droughts, mudslides and raging fires .... what is the draw to California living? I don;t recall any of these things brought up in the Beach Boys songs from the 60's!!

Good advise for the lift since storing in thise potential situations ...

Every part of the U.S. has their problems, hurricanes, tornado's & so on. You just can't beat the weather here. I was born in Illinois in Rogers Park, then moved to Melrose Park then Addison, and Carol Stream. Just can't take the snow & cold anymore. It was 82 here today. Beautiful day ! We have had a few small quakes here lately, but they say the big one is coming. Been here 32 years now and never going back east.

I can tell you I had mine on jack stands for several weeks and had a seized rear shock and a binding front shock when I let it down... 21k miles on her.Wound up replacing with the Aldan Americans all around (which are much better than stock anyway)
