I'm planning to chrome the bezels that surround the small AC/Heating vents on the edge of the dash (near the side windows.
How difficult is it to remove the existing ones ?
Does anyone know the MOPAR part numbers (in case of damage during removal)?
Thanks,
Terry

There are no bezels that surround the ac vents near the windows on a stock Prowler. The ones that I have on my Kat were purchased from the Prowler store in Florida. I painted them gold to match my other gold trim on the car.

Thats the one

I was hoping to paint mine as well, but seems it's hard, and the easiest solution is to buy those and have them painted then just stick it on

NullMind, it is simple to paint the bezels from the Prowler store. They are thin stainless steel with a raised part on the top. Just peel off the raised portion and paint the remaining piece whatever color you want with a rattle can. It only takes a minute to apply the finished piece to the dash with the 3M tape that comes on the bezel. So simple even a caveman can do it. LOL.

Thank you all for your input.
You're right. There is no bezel ....... it is all one unit.
So my revised question is ... has anyone ever removed the complete unit from the dash without damaging it ??

Why not take it to someone who does pin striping? I am sure they could paint it without any problems.

Excellent idea, it wouldn't take long, through out some dinero and drive away with the job done. How do you find a pinstriper?

Check out some of the larger local car shows, usually some stripers there.
