Robin This message has been edited by robin on 07-07-2015 at 09:00 AM Robin Thats the one I was hoping to paint mine as well, but seems it's hard, and the easiest solution is to buy those and have them painted then just stick it on Null Excellent idea, it wouldn't take long, through out some dinero and drive away with the job done. How do you find a pinstriper? ------------------greatkat I'm planning to chrome the bezels that surround the small AC/Heating vents on the edge of the dash (near the side windows.
How difficult is it to remove the existing ones ?
Does anyone know the MOPAR part numbers (in case of damage during removal)?
Thanks,
Terrygolfboy There are no bezels that surround the ac vents near the windows on a stock Prowler. The ones that I have on my Kat were purchased from the Prowler store in Florida. I painted them gold to match my other gold trim on the car. robin Can't find them anywhere except prowler online store 54 two piece
That just for the peel and stick.... http://theprowlerstore.com/Products_Page_Interior_Appearance_Interior_Trim.htm NullMind quote:

They are thin stainless steel with a raised part on the top. Just peel off the raised portion and paint the remaining piece whatever color you want with a rattle can. It only takes a minute to apply the finished piece to the dash with the 3M tape that comes on the bezel. So simple even a caveman can do it. LOL. FastLane So you are saying, that I have a chance doing this quote:

You're right. There is no bezel ....... it is all one unit.
So my revised question is ... has anyone ever removed the complete unit from the dash without damaging it ??mslc10 AWKWARD!!! ed monahan Why not take it to someone who does pin striping? I am sure they could paint it without any problems. padroo quote:
