As some of you know, I worked for a Motorsports company that built display tractor trailer rigs for NHRA and NASCAR. Some other rigs also, for FORD/Harley Davidson, etc. We also built a large enclosed trailer pulled by a custom RAM truck which was the Plymouth Prowler Road Show rig. The Prowler rig was one of my programs to manage. We had one of the concept Prowlers that was displayed with this rig. I always loved the Prowler Purple. One day RPL took me over to Chrysler to show me the new Black Prowler. Loved the black with the chrome wheels, so I said that if I ever got one, I wanted Black.

So, my first one was/is Black. RPL decided to purchase one of the Deep Candy Red Prowlers since it was the last color. (I didn't ask for another Prowler.) They offered me the last one off the line, but I turned that down, so they gave me the first Candy off the line.

The CAL KID cat was originally built as an Image Car for Chrysler. It was a project that RPL dreamed up as a 25th Anniversary Tribute car to the original California Kid car built by Pete Chapouris of SO CAL Speed Shop!! I now own the car.

People always ask me which one is my favorite. I don't have a favorite. I love them all for different reasons!!!! Yes, I am a very lucky woman!!!!

Dr. Button..........here are some other links you might find interesting. These are posted in the Event Scrapbook section.

These two from the SEMA show where the CAL KID was first shown.

Was there more than one concept prowler?

Does anyone know where it/they are now?

There was the concept car and a deck model. The deck model was essentially a non-running shell.

As a Prowler owner & enthusiast i have to say the Prowler looks stunning in every color because it implements a story.

My first choice was black & that was the first color i bought some you may know most of my cars are black, But then i really liked the Woodward because of how important it is for the Prowler world & that is my 2nd Prowler.

But i gotta say the Yellow is definitely one of the prettiest colors.

As i am designing a corner specifically for Prowler & its history i took the decisions to have every color produced from the Prowler range. You may kind say the first Prowler Museum in the Middle East with all the memorabilia
