I used the search feature but don't see a "how to" article. Several guys seem to like the door opening a little wider.

I did a search for "Door Video" and got 52 choices to look at.

This one was an earlier post which I hope still works.

The person mention Scott Curtis has since passed away but his ingenuity will live on (along with many others)

Here is another thread.

If you have any further questions, ask Jan (Catfish) as he is very knowledgeable when it comes to this mod.

I did the $10 spacer thing and that is the best mod I have ever done for the money. If you want it to open wider than that I would look into to Scott Curtis how to link. I haven't done mine yet but it is on my list. My #12's still kicks the door panel a little and I am not very flexible.

Tom Mills has nice machined aluminum spacers, check with Jefferson Auto on main page

I never changed mine since I didn't see it as a problem. Tom stopped by the house on his way home from Florida and showed me how to put the window regulator in (better than the video) but before we started he said, did you ever change the doors to open wider, told him No. Before he started the spacers were in place, have to admit it is much easier to get in and out of. My doors opened 28 1/2 on one side, 29 1/2 on other, now both about 32

A lot of people here do not get the recognition they deserve for the help and time they have spent to make the Prowler experience better. I can only say thank you.

If you think bashing someone who is dead is necessary, good luck to you. You think that makes you a better person? How sad for you.

Get lost? Wow! Maybe you should practice what you preach! Bright isn't it? LOL! Look in the mirror. You are disrespectful....especially to women.

I wasn't defending anyone. I merely stated that bashing a deceased person was pretty classless.

It appears from the links that there have been several different alternatives to your idea. The man is deceased, get over it.

Where can I purchase the spacer? I sent an email to Tom Mills. No response. Did a google search and found Tom Mills /Jefferson Auto. The address however comes up to a house in a residential area.
