Today is the 9th Anniversary of the day I picked up my new Candy Cat at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant. Who would ever thought that a car would be so much fun and provide such great pleasure? I loved it then....I love it still!!!

The following day, Feb. 8, 2002, we hosted the CAAP Tribute event for the employees of the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant. It was a sad day because Prowler production was ending, but a great one to be able to honor those who were involved in the Prowler's life!!!

One week later, on Feb. 15, 2002, Prowler production ended. I was fortunate to be invited to spend the week at the plant watching the last of the Prowler go down the assembly line. Mike & Judy Krehel were also there and it was a great, but somewhat sad, experience.

It's hard to believe that 9 years has passed since Prowler production ended. We have met so many great friends and enjoyed so many great vacations with them just from ownership of the Prowler! We hope to be able to see everyone as often as possible in the future.

Hard to believe it has been 9 years since the last car was built (ok next week will be 9 years for mikes Candy)

Congradulations for your anniversary of your Candy Cat

Even harder to believe that in July I will have had my car 13 years

....and if I remember correctly, that blue snake has a vin number right in sequence after the HV Prowler and the last Candy Prowler. Yours is probably right around there too

Cool CJ....

Nine for me this year in April.... but mine was a 2001 in PA. So it's the ten year anniversary of my 2001, built in December 2000....

I played golf today and didn't get done until rather late and decided I would fire up the Candy Prowler. The battery was stone cold dead and I think the hood shocks are shot. (My golf game wasn't all that great either, come to think of it.) One birdie and lots of bogeys and doubles.
The battery is the original one so I guess 9 plus years is pretty good.

I charged the battery and after 4 days it seems to be doing fine. I had left my iPod plugged in so that may have
been a slow drain.
Put new hood shocks on today. Too bad the weather went downhill again. Still can't get the Prowler out.
I had a flat tire on the motorcycle to top off the works.
It just needed some air.
