The following day, Feb. 8, 2002, we hosted the CAAP Tribute event for the employees of the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant. It was a sad day because Prowler production was ending, but a great one to be able to honor those who were involved in the Prowler's life!!! Read here: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005650.html One week later, on Feb. 15, 2002, Prowler production ended. I was fortunate to be invited to spend the week at the plant watching the last of the Prowler go down the assembly line. Mike & Judy Krehel were also there and it was a great, but somewhat sad, experience. Read here: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005651.html It's hard to believe that 9 years has passed since Prowler production ended. We have met so many great friends and enjoyed so many great vacations with them just from ownership of the Prowler! We hope to be able to see everyone as often as possible in the future. BackinBlackStray Cat Cool CJ.... Chi_Town_Prowler Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary!!!..... ed monahan I played golf today and didn't get done until rather late and decided I would fire up the Candy Prowler. The battery was stone cold dead and I think the hood shocks are shot. (My golf game wasn't all that great either, come to think of it.) One birdie and lots of bogeys and doubles.
The battery is the original one so I guess 9 plus years is pretty good.jimsutton Ed - You really did well on that battery down here 3-yrs to 4-yrs. .. ed monahan I charged the battery and after 4 days it seems to be doing fine. I had left my iPod plugged in so that may have
been a slow drain.
Put new hood shocks on today. Too bad the weather went downhill again. Still can't get the Prowler out.
I had a flat tire on the motorcycle to top off the works.
It just needed some air.
