RPL can help you with this answer and furnish you with a new serial number and carpet if he has any left.

Look under the trailer at the axle.
There may be a tag on it with a manufacturing date on it.
I would guess that date will be earlier than the trailer build date (duh)
I hope this suggestion helps in some way.

This is the reason that I started offering replacement VIN tags. Some states issue a title which will list the VIN and model year of the trailer. Other states simply issue a registration.

Other than the original VIN, you're going to be hard pressed to find a build date. Try the axle tag, check all of your paperwork and then look under the carpeting in the trailer.

The difference in the bras is the front hinge cut-outs vary.

Good reminder to order a replacement VIN tag or two. I also have the accessory trailer floor mats in stock. The Prowler name and kat logos is in black.

Bob, are the hinges different or the bras are different ONLY due to a slight mistake on the original bras ???

My trailer was made on 8/16/00, so would it be considered a 2000 or 2001? I'm guessing 2001 model year.
Thanks

I was thinking the location for the side marker lights were slightly different. But I could be wrong.

Wildcat had it correct. There may be more to it, but the running lights don't line up exactly with the holes.

They are orange and are on the front side of the trailer ahead of the fenders.

A nice mode for the trailer is adding a third brake light. Here is ours

Yes it is the standard Prowler 3rd Brake Light. I imagine at one time they were available through a dealer but I don't know if they still are. I purchased mine used from another member in the classified section many years ago.

My trailer has been covered so long that I forgot it had running lights. Loss of memory!!!!!! Regarding third brake light; yes these are Prowler lights. ALRTG helped me install mine that I purchased on Flea Bay.
