Other than the original VIN, you're going to be hard pressed to find a build date. Try the axle tag, check all of your paperwork and then look under the carpeting in the trailer. The difference in the bras is the front hinge cut-outs vary. Good reminder to order a replacement VIN tag or two. I also have the accessory trailer floor mats in stock. The Prowler name and kat logos is in black. Why are there 2 different bras on the Store Site? Whats the difference between 97-00 and 01-02. Is there any difference???????? Confused Why are there 2 different bras on the Store Site? Whats the difference between 97-00 and 01-02. Is there any difference???????? Confused I was thinking the location for the side marker lights were slightly different. But I could be wrong. Mine didn't have a Tongue in it when I got it ? I Don't know what the difference is in the Trailer Bra sizes are in 1997 - 2000 and 2001/2002 ??????????????? I need help Catmando JeraneW RPL can help you with this answer and furnish you with a new serial number and carpet if he has any left. alrtg Look under the trailer at the axle.
There may be a tag on it with a manufacturing date on it.
I would guess that date will be earlier than the trailer build date (duh)
I hope this suggestion helps in some way.RPL This is the reason that I started offering replacement VIN tags. Some states issue a title which will list the VIN and model year of the trailer. Other states simply issue a registration. ed monahan Bob, are the hinges different or the bras are different ONLY due to a slight mistake on the original bras ??? katmat My trailer was made on 8/16/00, so would it be considered a 2000 or 2001? I'm guessing 2001 model year.

A nice mode for the trailer is adding a third brake light. Here is ours
[img]u00tjs2 Is that the standard Prowler 3rd brake lite?
Available thru dealer or?? Thanks
img]http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/smilies/blueprowl.gif[/imgBeWare Yes it is the standard Prowler 3rd Brake Light. I imagine at one time they were available through a dealer but I don't know if they still are. I purchased mine used from another member in the classified section many years ago. JeraneW My trailer has been covered so long that I forgot it had running lights. Loss of memory!!!!!! Regarding third brake light; yes these are Prowler lights. ALRTG helped me install mine that I purchased on Flea Bay.
