We were out shopping this Sunday and there was a guy driving his Lamborghini out doing his Christmas shopping. I think this is highly risky with all the crazies out driving during this time of year. Assuming that your Kat is not stored for the winter. Do you drive it around during the holidays or are you like me and keep it safely parked in the garage?

Last Year I drove it right into new Years Eve.

But this year with more than a foot of snow on the ground already & salt & sand on the roads, it's stored until spring.

I try to get one out during the Winter, but they put down 3 inches of salt for every half inch of snow so we need a cleansing rain before I take it out.
This will no longer be a problem with global warming. lol

Mine gets put away in storage every first week in November. My birthday is May 4th and that is the day she comes back to life. It has been like a birthday present the past 5 years. 6 months of fun.

I drive mine as long as it's not raining and roads aren't salty. I don't drive as often as warmer months, but try to get it out for some fun!!!!!

We drive ours whenever the roads are clear and the sun is shinning! Had it out last Saturday. No top down, but it looks GREAT with the top up since it looks like a chopped top! Drive em' when you can, you may not be here tomorrow. Charlie

Couldnt agree more Charlie.
I give it a wash and have all the intentions of leaving it in the garage with the cover on.Problem is when I get a day off all I want to do is take it out for a blast.Worst thing is when it isnt raining, out it comes again...

Went to the mall today in mine and had 2 close calls. Both were female and had a big A$$ SUV and could care less who they were going to back into. They were in such a hurry you would think they were giving stuff away at their next stop .

Unfortunately not. There are usually nice sunny days that I could do that, but with the salt they lay on the roads here, it makes it impossible. You know it's bad when you're driving down the road with a white cloud following you!

However, when I can finally let the cats out of the bags....after a good rain in late March or early April....it always feels like I just got a brand new car....again!!!

I'll drive it on the roads, but would not ever go to the mall in it regardless of the season.

Last week, the temps here were in the high 60's...droping slightly into the 50's by midnight...so Kay and I took a short cruise, "10 miles", to Bristol Motor Speedway and Thunder Valley Dragway...they have a setup of "CHRISTMAS", not (Xmas), lights...that goes for right at 4.5 miles all around and in the complex...different sponcers set up their own displays...thousands and thousands of lights...where else can you drive on 2 of the most famous race tracks, in one night...by the way, the Kat hangs tight on those steep banks of Bristol...had a blast...

I am in a highly populated area and very close to a Mall. It is just almost impossible to avoid the holiday shoppers traffic for me to chance driving the Kat. I get to drive it year round so a few weeks of keeping it parked is not too much of a burden.
