With the crazies here at the malls there is no way I would take her out shopping. I was tempted to drive it to work today but changed my mind. She needs a good stretch of her legs though, so this weekend I plan on taking her out on some of the old highways, but other than that, no. T |

Interesting, but not surprising, that the guys in the south drive in the winter and those of us in the north don't. Sometimes I get the feeling that the guys who haven't experienced snow, slush, salt & sand really don't understand. I envy them! Best wishes to you all for a great Holiday season. |

I drive mine more over the holidays than at other time during the winter. Seems I make more time to enjoy life and the car. That is unless the DOT has put out salt. Once the salt is out, I usually wait until at least 2 rains have washed it away. I drove mine to work today. Fortunately we haven't had a snow or ice here yet. A few flurries is all. When I go to a shopping area I park as far from others as possible. I few extra steps is worth the piece of mind. This message has been edited by Randy Cobb on 12-20-2007 at 09:52 AM |

carguy, Oh we understand, spent 30 years in Illinois and Ohio, THATS EXACTLY WHY I AM IN 'THE SOUTH" now and driving a Kat almost daily. I carry a salt shaker and window scraper, just in case it snows. |

Hello all. This is my first post. I picked up my Mulholland edition last Saturday. It came with a hard top, spoiler and the bumpers were painted to match the car. I love it. Of course I weighed the pros and cons of going out and running errands with the Prowler today. I had been looking forward to driving it all week so I couldn't resist. I braved mall parking lots. I must admit that I got in and out of the stores as quickly as I could just so I could check on my baby. Anyway, I have been reading this forum for the last couple of weeks and it seems like there is a great group here. |

Sometines you just need to "dress" the cars for the weather before you drive them in the cold. I keep all my car ready for a ride if the weather is nice and the roads are clear. Note: My street rod was not a kit and was built by me with custom air brush work Tom Downey. Charlie.
