Out of everyone that owns a Hardtop how many leave it on all the time, switch seasonal or switch regularly? Just curious?

I took mine off for the winter storage.

My wife and son's want the top off.
That is how I made it OK to buy a second Proler,
told them I would let them drive it with the top off.
"I LIED"
The top stays "on" both of them!

For the most part my hard top stays on, I love the look with it on.
I do pop it off once in awhile just for a change.

I have had mine off and on a bunch of times but it has been on all Winter. I like driving it as a convertible, except on long trips, then I love the hardtop. I love the look of the hardtop but I want to enjoy the outdoors, too.

I have hard tops for all three of my cats. I leave the hardtop off the 99 Black so I have a convertible to drive! The Candy Cat has the hardtop on 99.9% of the time, although I have taken it off a few times at some of our events. I think it makes the Candy Cat look cooler (along with the side panels). The CA Kid always has had the top on....I should try it without though.........maybe at Tulsa.

I do not store any of the cats for the winter season with the hardtops on.

Top is on in early spring April to May and the off for the summer.Sometime I put it on for special events looks great with it on. Great mod for the car.
Back on some time September till November when I put the car away for the winter.
Store the car with the top on.
Easy to remove and install the top with the lift.

Mine is on all the time! I only took it off once last year for the Devil's Highway cruise in Northern AZ, to see all the scenery! I swear it is a different car when the hardtop is on. Quieter inside, can actually hear the radio, wind noise is virtually non-existent, slightly more head room than the soft top, and it just looks dang cool with the top on.

When we first bought it we thought it would be great in the summer in Phoenix, when it is too hot to drive around with the top down, but I like it so much it now has been on for the past 2 winters, when it really is top down weather here.

Best mod I could have purchased in my opinion, and well worth the money!

I have had mine off once for a local parade, otherwise it stays on all the time! I love the comments; "aren't some of these cars convertibles?"

Mine is OFF almost all the time except in the fall when it gets cold...
I really like the top down in the summer with the air patrol...
Hardtop does change the whole look completely and it's by far the best mod I've ever done!

I happen to think the convertible top looks pretty cool and adds to the look more than a hardtop. Also, if I wanted a coupe I would have bought a fixed roof car. Given the 6-7 months of "good" weateher we get in Ohio, driving top down is a lot of the fun for me. I would never want to close it up with a hard top. (IMO)

I just purchased my hardtop last year (2006), late in the summer. I waited until late fall (October) to put it on so I could drive into late November. Its been on all winter for storage, but I'll be taking it off in April. I really like the "Convertible" feel and miss the open feel come late fall. I drive with the top down most of the time... even until late fall.... isn't that what heaters are for!
