Met John at the A D C museum in Auburn In. ( maybe a future Prowler event). Picked up the trailer & drove it home. Ran between 75 & 80 mph. Didn't even know it was back there. Thanks for the help from you guys. I'm going to call the dealership to get a harness for the car. If anyone has one to sell,let me know......Mac P.S. Thanks Tammy |

Galaxie If you know a little about wiring you can pick up a universal trailer connection kit (under $6.00), Just the Mail & female plug & and some crimp splicer's,the one's you don't to cut the wires for. Instead of having to drill the trunk area there are two drain plugs at the very back under the carpeting that you can poke a hole thru one of them with an awl or ice pick and bring the wires in there and then just a dab of silcone to seal where the wire comes thru. I've done two like this and it works fine, if you know enough about wiring it's faster to install with no drilling & very little cost. I have a new OEM harness still in the box, (my 97 had wiring when delivered from FL) I bought it thru the POA site for $65.00 prior to the car arriving. If your interested you can have it for $50.00 + shipping. The OEM set-up is trouble free and designed to fit properly. |
