My 7 Year bumper to bumper warranty on my 2000 Prowler is running out in March '07 and wondering if a further extended warranty is available, and if there are any last items that I should have looked at before it does? I have about 22K miles on it and it seems to be running great with no major complaints that I can think of. Maybe a squeaky belt or alternator bearing, but not bad? I have had my hood gas shocks replaced twice, one new headlight assembly, inside rearview mirror with computer readout, an upper door trim weather strip, and both transmission sensors replaced under warranty. Glad I had it! It definitely paid for its self. Luckily, I've never had a problem with the Chrome on my wheels as well. Any extended warranty suggestions and cost appreciated. ------------------ PROWLEN.... John (-: |

John, There are a few dealers whom offer us discounts, but I used Bob Haisler from Miller Motors for warranties on 3 of my cars (Not all Chryslers either). He should be able to answer warranty questions you may have. He sells POA members the warranties at $50.00 over dealer cost. He will also send you the VIP Summary report on you Automobile at no charge (This is the report which gives the history on your car). He offered to do this for any of us that request it from him. Contact John Clapp of Bill Mason Chrysler-Jeep in Excelsior, MN @ 952-474-8855. I just extended my Max Care through him and he couldn't have been nicer. Tell him you're with the POA and have your Vin and current mileage available. You can even get DC extended warranty coverage if your present coverage has lapsed. |
