We have just a couple weeks before the deadline for the Group purchase and we are ten short on the Purple purchase. Here is an idea to make up that 10 just in case we don't make it. There are 72 cars in a case. A case is $62. There are 60 people signed up for a case of Purple. What if each of us wanting a case of Purple kicked in extra to buy the 10 needed cases and divided up the cars equally. $62 a case divided by 72 = 86 cents each car 10 cases x $62 = $620 $620 divided by 60 people = $10.33 each 10 cases x 72 cars = 720 cars 720 cars divided by 60 people = 12 cars each person $10.33 extra per person divided by 12 cars = 86 cents each car. I case of 72 cars divided by 12 = 6 people To save Bob from having to break up the cases. I would be willing and maybe nine others might be, to have Bob mail them one of the extra cases. Then I (we 10) in turn would mail 12 cars to 5 people. It would cost a little extra postage but we would not totally miss out on this opportunity. Any Takers. Rich has a good idea.Let's at least get them committed to. Every time the deadline comes and goes, there inevitably comes along someone looking for cars. Last year I gave back 3 or 4 cases so people that missed the deadline could get some. I've already committed to 6 cases total but when the deadline comes if needed I may buy another. I have plenty of purple but we're too close to not get there. |

Before we go to all of this trouble, who wants half a case of purple and half a case of another color? If we get relatively equal numbers wanting purple and save half want yellow and half want orange, it would work out. Anyone in for an additional half & half? |

Bob on my end it doe's not matter what color I get so you can put my order anywhere you need to. I just use them for the parades and car shows to give to the kids and they are happy with any color.. quote: ------------------ |
