MeanCat Did you get yours cart new or used? I have bought 2 karts in the last few weeks. One used, it was one of the karts built in 97 to go with the Prowler. It has a tag that said it had something to do with Chrysler. Think it was built by Byrd?? My kids and grandkids have been having a ball with it, me too, a little. I also ordered a new one from PROMO KARTS MINI CAR COMPANY. It shipped out Friday. They built it without bumpers and also didn't put the decals on because I'm going to paint it Candy when I get it. They built it red but couldn't do the Candy color. When I get it painted, I'll post a picture of it. Hope you have fun on yours, looks like you are. ------------------ |

TO ANSWER SOME QUESTION'S,Yes this was build by bird . USA,Inc. 113 N Main Elkhorn, Nebraska 68022 1-800224-bird however the number know longer works. but this works 402-298-3779 built 1997 #450 is what the gold plack says. This one dose have the 5hp ele start w/horn.I'm practicing for the gocart racing on Friday of this week.Last year everybody took advantage of me.This year WATCH OUT. As far as the color it is short lived.For it to go faster we did to paint it a faster color. As far as needing 6 people to push me in of 6 people to get me out,You will be surprised to know I've lost a whopping 3 lb.It's much e-zer now. Just ordered a new chrome grill and 4 new bumper's wow the price of this unit is going up.Not only that but I was miss lead when buying it.She said it had a 6hp motor when in fact it has a small 5hp.All the book I have say it came with a 5hp Brigg.But it has a 5hp tecumseh.Witch I belive they switch to after talking to others.All and all a project is just that.I hope I'm up for this.. ------------------ |

Jerry, What's wrong with the bumpers that are on it? If you take them off for new ones, I would be interested in the old ones. As for the motor, put a motorcyle engine in it like I'm doing. It'll really go then. |

Kraut all 4 bumper's are broken and or chipped.When the new one's come and I know they will fit I will send you the old one's.Just give me your address. As far as the grill I ordered a chrome one this time.I hope it don't turn gold on me. ------------------ |
