Dave Ridge in FL experienced this same thing. I believe Tom Mills repaired it for him.

My silver is doing the exact same thing. I thought I would get no help from DC. Please let me know who you spoke to and if you got any warranty coverage. Thanks

My A-arms experienced serious corrosion last year. Since my car was 7 years old at the time and way out of warranty, I didn't even consider contacting Chrysler, I just had them redone. I did find it a little odd though, that the body shop at the dealer refused to even touch them. I had it handled by an independent body shop.

It is pretty much case by case....and how the service manager chooses to handle the situation. My 2001 300M had some corosion at the front edge of the hood last year, paint was just bubbling. Service manager at that time explained the "hole thru" policy. He made an exception and replaced the hood with a new one, and did an excellent job. I was very happy. Got it back and gave the car to my son.
