Do you mean corrode as in corrosion, Like body rot on aluminium .Ray Likely all that salt air in Michigan ... BeWare Dave Ridge in FL experienced this same thing. I believe Tom Mills repaired it for him. meancat quote:

Since my car was 7 years old at the time and way out of warranty, I didn't even consider contacting Chrysler, I just had them redone. I did find it a little odd though, that the body shop at the dealer refused to even touch them. I had it handled by an independent body shop. R Rodenfels It is pretty much case by case....and how the service manager chooses to handle the situation. My 2001 300M had some corosion at the front edge of the hood last year, paint was just bubbling. Service manager at that time explained the "hole thru" policy. He made an exception and replaced the hood with a new one, and did an excellent job. I was very happy. Got it back and gave the car to my son.
