Ok, for all the guys lucky enough to own both!

If you had too choose which one would go?

How would you compare the two besides the HP?

If someone was to ask you which car too buy what would you say?

Thanks, have to ask since I always thought of buying a viper and my wife said only one Toy

observations...

...attention, the Prowler gets the edge here, especially with non car people.....car people and street rodders tend to give the Viper more respect....

...handling, both are excellent, but the Viper will do more trix for you...the V10 helps with these trix

...economy, gas mileage is relaitvely similar under normal driving stiuations...

...repairs, I have had very little with either, but non warranty Viper repairs can be very expensive...

...comfort, both are firm rides with the Viper possibly being the roughest riding car I have ever owned(the suspensions on mine are set to firm), but I don't want to drive a living room sofa anyway...the Viper seats seem a little tighter fit, but on long trips, the Viper wins out big time due to better support in the seats...Viper also has more cargo area and more places to stow items in the cabin ...both have interior cooling deficiencies, but the Viper really can be uncomfortable on hot days till the AC finally takes hold...a V10 makes alot of heat...

...pricing, Prowlers mid $30K range, Viper RT/10 mid $30K range, Viper GTS mid $40K range, Viper SRT $55-65 K range, these price guidelines are for nice low mile used cars...

...power, the Prowler is fine for cruising the streets and highways, lotsa fun....thats what it was designed for....don't take them into the mountains or even press them too hard on the interstate, they just can't cut it....the Viper on the other hand, pulls as hard at 150mph as it does at 50mph...I have pushed different Vipers into the 140-160mph range many many times, with 175 being my top speed....the car never stops pulling, and pulling hard...can't say enough about the performance...every dork out there wants to race a Prowler, but only the foolish mess with a Snake..I have driven a 9 second, 900 RWHP street Viper GTS...I can't even begin to describe the rush I encountered while running that Viper thru the gears...

...if I could only have one, it would be a Viper GTS....classic looks and fantastic performance to match...

...not too far in the future, I may get rid of many of my cars, even the Kats... I just don't have the interest I once did....but I hope when I am in "the home" I can sit and look out the window at my Viper GTS and remember the good times running the "SERPENT" well into triple digit territory....

Well I'm CTProwler on here. CTViper On VCA Site. Love them Both. Can't compare the 2! Like guys said before Prowlers are great cruisers. They get more attention because they are so unusual looking. My Vipers are more fun to drive for sure. I won't sell my Prowler because I have so many Mods and time into it. I would sell my Vipers because they are easier to come by. If you drive a Viper your hooked if you like Power--Speed-torque. I've driven Texas Speedway-Lime Rock--and Pocono Raceway what a Blast! Now's a good time to buy a Viper prices are down, large inventory. I have a 04 and a 05 VCA Special Edition #22 0f 50 if anyone is interested. Check out Classified's

My wife does with out a lot of things (bigger house, expensive furniture, big wardrobe, jewelry) and so on, So her husband can have his car toys, to many car toys. I think that Susan likes the Prowler the most because of the friends that we have made with the car, and the events that we have gone to in it. She enjoys the car having windows, a easy conv. top to put up, the C.D. player, controls in the steering wheel. She also likes the speedo where she can see it to tell me to slow down. The big thing I think was that she flew with me to Minn. and rode back to Colo. like a two day vacation stopping by the Mall of America and Hard Rock Cafe and any other place she wanted, and was included in the purchase of the car. Most of the time I just show up with the cars that I buy. Plus the Viper is very hot in the floor boards and is more expensive to maintain and she hates the get yourself in trouble POWER. Me I like the Prowler the best for now, the Viper is a 1994 and they have made a lot of improvements in the cars since that time. Love the body style of the early ones, Gen 1 and 2. Some day will sell mine for one with windows 1997-2002, always have been a power nut and with the torque, speed the Viper fits the bill. Can't see myself doing with out the Mopar Twins until something better comes along....

New Vipers are priced at about $130,000.00 Canadian which is around $112,000 US. Seems awfully high for a vehicle that they have over stock in??????

Don't get it?

Like the Crossfires...they want $60,000 (cdn) plus for the SRT, its just not worth it.

Let me see....I wonder why their not selling.

I own both and it's like comparing an apple to an orange!
One is pure raw power and adrenaline....the other is looks, conversations and cruising!
Viper is definitely one of the best cars I've ever owned and the and wouldn't part with it.
Prowler is definitely the coolest looking car I've ever owned and has allowed me to meet people and see places I probably never would otherwise!
Just wish I had more time to enjoy them.....they seem like a fixture in my garage those days!

I recently sold my 96 RT to get the 02 Kandi Prowler...In short, if you don't track the Viper, the Prowler is better for cruising, driving to work , etc...If you track the Viper, hence get to explore it's potential, you cannot compare the two cars. They really are made for different purposes... I love em both, but since I only want one toy at a time, and I have a Viper for 3.5 yrs, it is now onto the Prowler...cheers Tomer

I just recently sold my Prowler and bought a Viper. I love both cars, but couldn't justify the cost of having both right now. I will probably have a Prowler again sometime in the future when I can have both at the same time, but I'm not sure I would sell the Viper and go back to a Prowler. Either way, both cars get quite a bit of attention and in my opinion are the two of the best looking cars on the road!

I'll say they are both great cars made for different reasons. The Viper gets everybody's attention well over the Prowler, However a pricey paint job helped out the Viper. I will contemplate painting the 99 Red Prowler to see if possibly it may get more looks when parked next to each other.

Hi, I own two Prowlers and a Viper.
Have to say the Prowler is more fun and relaxed to drive.

I own two Prowlers 2000 and 2002 and a 2002 RT/10 Viper.
I have to say I usually enjoy driving the Prowlers more than the Viper for just tooting around town on the weekends.
Thank you
