I'm sure some of you may know me as the guy who rented a Prowler for his wedding a few years back. BIG MISTAKE! I then rented the same one for my 1 year anniversary. EVEN BIGGER MISTAKE!! Since then it's been my dream to say that I own one. Over the past few months I've seen Prowlers in town quite a few times. Probably more times these past few months than I've ever seen total. Last night on the way home from work I stopped at a 4-way stop, glanced at the house on the corner and saw a group of people standing around in the driveway. What were they looking at? A yellow Prowler! A couple months ago I was sitting in church and just happened to look out the window at the exact same time a yellow Prowler drove by! Also saw a beautiful orange Prowler while I was driving to work a month ago. My wife just sent her resume in to be a Design Consultant at a huge furniture/interior design store. If she's able to get hired there full-time instead of her current 24 hour/week Marshall Field's job that pays both 'weekly' and 'weakly' (as I told our mortgage officer), this spring I WILL HAVE A PROWLER IN MY GARAGE. It tears me up looking at the classified section and places like AutoTrader. So many incredible beauties for sale. Has anyone else ever wanted a specific car so bad?!?! |

Don't give up on your dream car. I wanted a Prowler since I saw the concept car at the Kentucky Derby in 1995 ( I think) I figured with two school age kids it would be after college graduation in 2008 before I could afford one. My son got a scholarship about the same time that prices relaxed to under $40,000 and I got my dream car in May 2001! I hope you get your's soon. ------------------ |

Wuzzer - I was like you about 7 months ago and I have to say if you must carry a 2nd or 3rd mortgage it is worth it! The prowler is my daily driver and love going to work, coming home and getting up in the morning so I can drive my prowler to work again is all worth it. Just do it! |
