quote: I feel the same way. I see 2-3 ferraris everyday around here, Another 2-3 lambos, 8-10 bentleys, etc. Porsches are a dozen to a block. BMW and Benzes are even more numerous. But you almost never see a PROWLER on the street. Plus, the daily driverability of the kat makes it a great daily driver -- can't do that with a ferrari... |

Why? Because it still makes me 'feel good' to jump into the cat and go out for a ride,,,,,,,,,,,and because of ALL the nice people and friends I've met along the way through the POA! ------------------ Call 911 - there is a Prowler in my garage.... Larry Salzman - Phx/Mesa, Arizona |

The Prowler is a concept car, an experimental car, and so few were produced. just to have the privilege to own a rare piece of automotive history is reason enough. However: driving this car makes me forget all my woes. Everyday is a parade. Many folks I work with said I would never get a prowler. These same people wanted to sit in it or get a ride after my purchase. Then winter came; my co-workers started to give me grief about buying a car I could not drive in the snow. It is sad to have a car like this and let it sit all winter long, but thanks to Ed Monahan and the other local owners, I have had a great time time owning a car I won't drive. So I would have to say to Prowler is the coolest in the winter and the hottest in the summer. |

Ed, I just discussed going down to Kentucky with my wife and we would be glad to go. One question: Do you have to take off your shoes when you cross the river? lol |

Several reasons, but the unique styling is what catches most people. For me it's like a hot rod with all the conveniences of a production car. If you don't have the facilities or expertise you can take it to a dealer for service or repairs. |

The Prowler is a true 'HOT ROD'! No company in automotive history has ever produced a vehicle of such emotion! If you have the means, you can have Boyd build a hot rod, but it will not have the convinces, safety devices, warranty, reliability, or engineering expertise that the Prowler has. Think about it...You have all the modern safety and creature comforts of a high end modern automobile, with the one of a kind style that is usually only available to persons of great wealth. I have always been partial to the 1937 Ford Split Window Coupe, and that is what the Prowler reminds me of. |

When else could you buy a hot rod that looks like this car....BRAND NEW from a DEALERSHIP...with FULL WARRANTY and all modern amenities?!? the whole concept was/ is insanely cool and hasn't been duplicated since....The SSR comes close, but it ain't like the Prowler. |
