Just got my Prowler been looking since November. Found POA while looking. You guys are great, it seems that every question that I have come up with so far has been asked and answered by one of you in previous listings. Without the information you guys have supplied don't know what I would have done. Thanks a Million!!!

I do have a couple of questions for you, my prowler is a 2002 Inca Gold, have located a trailer at a good price but different color. Has anyone painted one with good results? Has anyone used the 3M Scotchal paint protection film? Appreciate any insight.

Congrats on the new Prowler.Several have painted the trailers. Be sure to take the car to the body shop for a better match. The gold can be tricky to paint.

I would suggest you get a bra for the trailer. Those big 20" rears wheels on the car kick up a lot of debris.

Congratulations on your new cat and welcome to POA. Since they don't build the trailers anymore, the only way you'll get one is used........and it shouldn't be a problem repainting. I know several people that have done it!

Welcome, and yes I am an INCA-HOLIC......
>trailers can be repainted, and yes the gold is a hard color to match, proper blocking primer, and several coats of paint , and then pinstriping to match cat , and clearcoat, can be done!, mine used to be Mulholland Blue , and now look at it...............you tell me?

of course, you dont have to do the other mods,of 3rd brake light, matching bumpers w/ shimmers, rock guards, and an internal dc on/off dome light, matching rear emblems, double pinstripes, the only thing it doesn't have is Dr. Ru's sig. , and Waynew will say, yeah but it doesn't have 20 in wheels....

I had the 3M "Clear Bra" put on my Honda Accord a few weeks ago. Looks great (i.e. you can't see it under most lighting conditions). We'll see how it goes after the winter sandblasting on the roads. I would recommend it.

Meancat, thanks, the thickness that Tom R. had on his trailer was not enough, if i remember correctly it was 8 mill or 9?
