| gottagetone | Just got my Prowler been looking since November. Found POA while looking. You guys are great, it seems that every question that I have come up with so far has been asked and answered by one of you in previous listings. Without the information you guys have supplied don't know what I would have done. Thanks a Million!!! I do have a couple of questions for you, my prowler is a 2002 Inca Gold, have located a trailer at a good price but different color. Has anyone painted one with good results? Has anyone used the 3M Scotchal paint protection film? Appreciate any insight. |
| Marty Usher | Congrats on the new Prowler.Several have painted the trailers. Be sure to take the car to the body shop for a better match. The gold can be tricky to paint. I would suggest you get a bra for the trailer. Those big 20" rears wheels on the car kick up a lot of debris. Marty ------------------

>trailers can be repainted, and yes the gold is a hard color to match, proper blocking primer, and several coats of paint , and then pinstriping to match cat , and clearcoat,can be done!, mine used to be Mulholland Blue , and now look at it...............you tell me?
 of course, you dont have to do the other mods,of 3rd brake light, matching bumpers w/ shimmers, rock guards, and an internal dc on/off dome light,matching rear emblems, double pinstripes, the only thing it doesn't have is Dr. Ru's sig.  , and Waynew will say, yeah but it doesn't have 20 in wheels.... | Kevin A | I had the 3M "Clear Bra" put on my Honda Accord a few weeks ago. Looks great (i.e. you can't see it under most lighting conditions). We'll see how it goes after the winter sandblasting on the roads. I would recommend it.
