We like our air patrol. Looks great. It is not bad at low speeds for air blockage but not great. Again its the looks that I like about it. This message has been edited by pumpkin on 01-04-2005 at 05:18 PM |

I bought the air patrol for its looks, not its function. I am happy with the way it looks on the kat. |

RealRod Air Patrol looks kewl, and I feel it blocks the wind up to about 55-60mph. ------------------

I recently bought an air patrol. Certainly makes a difference at lower speed range. You can easily carry on a conversation compared to before. Good quality and makes the car stand out. Hope this helps. John |

Bought an air patrol and agree with the comments above. Blocks the wind below 55-60 MPH. Don't know about the others but I have one with dark glass and it looks very nice. Very positive feedback on looks. Also the colour is a perfect match. Should fit your black Prowler nicely. Best regards, Kees This message has been edited by kees on 01-05-2005 at 01:21 AM |

I'm going the other way. I don't like the looks of the Air Patrol. I prefer the TGF Spoiler! I think it looks like it belongs on the car. Sleek, doesn't need to be removed when putting up the Top. JMO If we all liked the same things we would only need 1 type of car to buy and 1 SUV and 1 Truck! ------------------ |

I have one also and agree with the above information. I got the tinted one and love how it looks. I also ordered it unpainted and found a great body shop that matched the Orange paint perfectly, and it only cost $70.00 to paint it. ------------------ This message has been edited by PAHs Sunset Ride on 01-05-2005 at 12:31 PM |

I also agree with all of the comments above. In my personal experimentation, I have found it is most effective 40 -50 mph range with the side windows down. I checked to see what differences it would make having the side glass up or down, and I personally felt a greater amount of wind buffetting when I had the side windows up. My wife agreed when she tried it. Also it does look great on the car. I have a Black Tie, and as you know the top of the car is Black. My Air Patrol is silver and actually looks like a small roll bar with the color contrast. I think some other owners have also done some contrasting colors, which make it stand out even more. Real Rod makes some quality products, so you won't be disappointed....JMO Take a look at this previous post to see how it looks http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/001545.html This message has been edited by prowlrman on 01-05-2005 at 01:42 PM |
