Last weekend I purchased Bob Lloyd's Champion Mullins trailer, as a result of him selling his Prowler for a Mustang Cobra SVT (I saw his new car and it is really nice!!!). He had the trailer posted on the POA classified ads and I jumped on it right away, as I had seen the trailer at one of our Phoenix events last fall and really liked it!

I wanted to post a pic of the trailer just moments after I got it home. Don't look too closely, because you may notice that the trailer is NOT really connected yet to the rear of the Prowler, as I still need to get a hitch. Future plan will be to paint the top of the trailer Black to match the Black Tie color scheme.

I also purchased his Air Patrol. When I heard it was silver in color, prior to actually picking it up, I was already planning to repaint it black. But once I got it home and placed it on my Black Tie, I really liked the contrast and have decided to leave it silver. It almost looks like a small roll bar in the different color.

Thanks to BOB and his wife Chris for the great deal!!!

I see that I will need to get a silver air patrol. I think you should leave it silver. This is kinda like what your trailer will look like after it is tu-toned.

Bcoffman Gray Ghost...

WOW!! Awesome to see how it will look like once it is two-toned!! I didn't realize you had the same trailer! Thanks for sharing pics with me. I have also considered a mild flame job along the side of my Black Tie, and it is nice to see how well yours came out and it doesn't look too "busy" with the two-tone color scheme!

Thanks to everyone who agreed with my decision so far to keep the air patrol silver. It really does contrast nicely...and I have to admit I can't take all the credit for "my" decision...as my lovely wife told me before I ever put it on that it will look GREAT!!! She was RIGHT!!!
