Here's an unsoliticed plug for RealRod. Bob posted elsewhere that orders have been slow for the last couple of months. Now would be a good time for anyone thinking about having some Custom Body work done to contact Bob. For those of you in the North, you aren't driving the car that much anyway. Last winter I called Bob with the idea of removing the tailights and filling in the holes and putting red lenses in the RearPan I had already bought from him. He came up with the idea of adding the '39 Ford taillights. Bottom line is if you have an idea and need someone to make it happen - call Bob 952-873-6626.

Thanks Marty, FYI in doing Martys work I did not even need his car here until we were ready to install. Most pieces I can fit to my car so yours is not needed. Right now my car will be tied up for 3 weeks off site getting another piece ready for production. If you have an idea give me a call I have many stock body panels here play with to see if your idea can be done. ------------------ |

I have a 32 Ford streetrod with LED's that are flush mount and cannot even feel them and are very bright. The good thing is you may make them as long as you want. |

WOW - nice car! What a choice you have to make every day - Drive the rod or the Prowler? Nice thing about being poor like me is you don't have to make a decision. |

GENE, I knew I had seen your car before. I go to the Street Rod Nationals every year! The weather was so nice this year I didn't even go inside and look at parts. Kentucky is a beautiful state especially from March thru October. I love Florida November thru March. My plan when I retire in about 8 years is to split my time between the two. Happy New Year! |

Has anyone ever seen anybody do hidden tailights and signals with fiber optic lighting? I've seen it used it paintwork before and you can't see them unlesss they are on. I would think that would look pretty trick if someone could figure out how to do it. -Greg- |

There are several folks who have done it with some type of paint. They paint it with several coats. I think they are mostly on black cars, though. Someone will probably post. |
